My second question is that the Birth Certificate of My daughter is in Hindi(from INDIA).Do I require a certified translator for it or should I just it translated in English and get it Notarized.Who should be attesting it?It will be a notary person or public or Executive Magistrate? Please reply.

Quorax,

I just received my GCMS notes by email (the new system superceding CAIPS) and there are some points I dont understand.

- Under Medical, it says 1 but the status shows In progress. I think "1" in CAIPS means passed but how come status show 'not started', medical status is 'generate'

- Under Criminality, also code 1 but status is 'in progress'. However, the sub section says RCMP 'no reportable trace'

- Under Security, says 1 status says 'not started' - Does that mean CSIS report IS NOT REQUIRED?

The GCMS is 20 pages in length but the info pretty much duplicated, I dont see Bring Forward Date anywhere. I think CAIPS was more in depth than GCMS. Any expert could help me decode the below?

1. Your meds r cleared by the RMO, however, it has not yet been 'seconded' by the IMB-Ottawa.
2. The SECRIM has been passed thru your PCCs, as well as the RCMP report... but the complete security clearance isn't concluded.

Illustrious QORAX, it is for my brother!

How many points, in minimum/at least/to be on the safe side, would be given for following education, from Pakistan?

Matric (10 years education), school/classes attended for full two years, character certificate certifying full-time attendance got from school, but due to taking exam in parts, board certificate has got the word PRIVATE on it!

F.Sc. (12 years education), school/classes attended for two full years, character cerificate certifying full-time attendance got from college, but due to taking exam in parts, the cerificate has got the word PRIVATE on it!

B.A. (14 years education) done as a regular student!

M.A. (16 years education) done as a private student, without attending classes, from a recognized body!

B.Ed. (1 year education) done as a private student, from a recognized body!
(Both M.A. and B.Ed. certificates do not carry the word PRIVATE on them!

Thanks and regards,

Ghafoor

Sir, u replied my brother perhaps doesn' qualify! Perhaps, communication gap!

May I elaborate/repeat a part of my query!

Sir, my bother' in-class/regular/full-time studies are 14 years! The only worth-explaining point is that in his matric (9th and10th grade) exam, he, after attending classes in school, took exam in parts, and because of that his matric certificate carries the word PRIVATE!
Likewise, in his F.Sc. (11th and 12th grade), he, after attending classes in college, appeared in exam in parts,to improve his grades/score, and thus was labelled PRIVATE in his F.Sc. certificate! But he attended classes in both!
AND HE ALSO GOT CHARACTER CERTIFICATES FROM HIS MATRIC/HIGH SCHOOL AND F.Sc. COLLEGE WHICH CERTIFY THAT HE HAS BEEN A REULAR/FUUL-TIME STUDENT IN THE RESPECTIVE SCHOOL AND COLLEGE!!!
AND HIS B.A. (14 YEARS EDUCATION) IS ALSO AS REGULAR/FULL-TIME STUDENT, AND HIS B.A. CHARACTER ALSO CERTIFIES HIS HAVIN BEEN A FULL-TIME STUDENT IN HIS B.A.!

AND THE REST OF HIS EDUCATION IS FROM FUULY RECOGNIZED INSTITUTIONS, BUT HE DID NOT ATTEND CLASSES, HE TOOK HIS EXAMS AS A PRIVATE STUDENT!

IN A WORD, HIS B.A. (14 YEARS EDUCATION) IS AS A FULL-TIME/REGULAR STUDENT!

KEEPING IN VIEW THE ABOVE-SAID SCENARIO, HOW MANY POINTS WOULD HE GET?

Would you please again take time to reply!

Thanks and regards,

Ghafoor

The word "Private" is indeed a deal-breaker in your case. It'd be very unlikely the the VO'd pass those school certs. That 'character cert' u r talking about isn't required or recognized by CIC. They'd only assess the ednl certs... and that'd notify them of not being an 'in-class' student.

Even if they accept those docs, I think they'd yet enquire from u, at a later stage, about the schooling. It'd be a challenge for u to demonstrate actual regular schooling then.

However, if all goes well [if the 'private' is accepted], u could obtain 22 points for 2 university degrees with 15 yrs 'full-time' studies.

NOC-7216 is for Contractors and Supervisors of Mechanic Trades. It's unlikely that the CIO will pass u on this NOC, as u r above the requirement/s - being a "Manager".

That b/cert. needs to have a translation done thru "Legal Translators" and then notarized from a Notary Public.

Your b/ground checks r yet 'on' and there's a long queue also @ London.

For the relocation u r required to email a note to your VO and also request them to change your address.

Yes, RMO confirmed to me today that they passed it on to Buffalo. So from what you say I guess everything is cleared now, just pending to sit on the desk of Visa Officer for final review then he can request passport anytime now? Would it take a few weeks, or few days?

Meds, Security and Criminal all have status '1' but some indicate 'not started' and updated date is the day they create my file thats why Im confused.

So, wherever I see '1', it means 'passed' or 'completed' right? Status code '1' can be entered into my GCMS by other parties such as CSIS or RMO and I can disregard any other outdated info input by VO. Is that correct?

Finger crossed...

Hi, I sent my application for Federal Skilled Worker in july 2nd, and until now, 3 months, my credicard has not been charged with the fee yet, and I have not received any email or letter from them. No contact at all in 3 months, should not they have at leat charged my credicard already? or is this wait for the first contact really more than 3 months? How much time should I wait for them to contact or charge my credicard with the fee? and if the waiting time expires, how can I contact them to know whats going on?

Thanks for the wonderful service you provide us my friend!

Have a good day!

Sayan

PLEASE answer my other question if you know, it's of MUCH importance to us!

Werent they suposed to have charged my credicard already with the fee, before sending the first contact?

If the waiting time expires, how can I contact them to know whats going on?

Thank you very much!!! Have a great weekend!

Sir Qorax, sorry to be a bother once again!

Even if, Sir, suppose, matric and F.sc certs are not accepted, BUT B.A. HAS BEEN DONE AS A REGULAR STUDENT, AND THE B.A. CERT. SHOW THAT IT HAS BEEN DONE FROM A RECOGNIZED COLLEGE AS A REGULAR STUDENT!

MY QUERY NOW IS:   IF MATRIC AND F.Sc. (12 YEARS EDUCATION) ARE DONE AS A PRIVATE STUDENT, AS YOU TELL ME THAT CIC WILL TAKE IT, BUT B.A. (14 YEARS EDUCATION) IS DONE AS A FULL-TIME/REGULAR STUDENT, AND THAT IS PROVED BY B.A. CERT., WOULD THE WHOLE, PREVIOUS EDUCATION TILL 14 YEARS B.A. NOT BE CONSIDERED REGULAR AND GIVEN
20 POINTS FOR THAT 14 YEARS EDU.?

Thanking you so much in anticipation,

Ghafoor
