Hi Qarex...
2007 applicant seeking you advice
1. I have used to check the E-Cas from time to time (once or twice a month), I never though to put an eye on that .... any ideas about the appearance and disappearance that most of the people talks about?
2. My medical reached CHC london in April, and the last update to **spam** from CHC was in July  .... "awaiting a background review by the Immigration Officer"... he used to send email every month ... last one was yesterday?
Your ideas/thoughts regarding the eye on e-cas & the follow up e-mails to CHC London from my personal e-mail.
Thanks & Best Regards

Hi Qorax

We have applied for our skilled immigration in fast track last year and recieved AOR on 20/10/10 from london office. In AOR they have wrritten to contact them if we havent heard from them in eight months. We havent heard from them yet.  What would be the good idea ?

1. To contat them ?
2. Request for CAIPS / GCMS notes. I have my brother living in canada. How can he request our CAIPS notes from CIC. I have read that they have now new GCMS system. What should we request then CAIPS or GCMS or both. We are totally confused that how should we go about it.

Any help in this regard would be appriciated.

My husband and I are applying for the Canadian PR under the Federal Skilled Worker Class. We had a few questions.

1) Both me and my husband were born in India and we do not have our original birth certificates? Can we use an Affidavit instead?
2)Our high school education and undergraduate degrees are from India and it is difficult to obtain a transcript (from the universities) for all the education in India. Will course completion certificates and degree certificates suffice? We will be able to submit notarized copies of the transcripts. I am living in India.

Thanks

1. Send your High School Cert. alongwith an Affidavit.
2. Send the notarized copies under a cover letter explaining that.

Dear Qorax,

I will be applying for PR under FSW-2 next month but I am really worried to see the timelines. In buffalo US it is taking around 22 months which is increasing day by day.

Is there any chance I can apply it from some other place like Havana - Cuba or Lima - Peru which are taking far less time.

If no then please suggest me so that I can get it little soon.

Also thanks a lot for your earlier answers.

Hi Qorax,

I am right now in Canada working as a software engineer for the past 15 months. 2 minths ago I pllied for my PR application  which is still in process . I applied under FSW category 2 with a letter from my employer saying that they will still keep me after I get my PR.

1. God forbid what will happen if I can not hold this job for the next 2 years(untill I get my PR).Would I still get my PR or my PR application will get rejected.

2. Because If I am on a bounded work permit how I can switch jobs . I have this question because it takes 1month to receive a new LMO + 2-3 months to get a new work permit on new LMO. No employer will wait for me for 3-4 months. Is it now impossible to get new job this way.

3 .Can I get work permit on a LMO on the same day in Buffalo .Because if yes then this will solve my worry I explained above.

I will be very thankful for your help.
Thanks
Andy

Just need to ask you in particular, intially in the previous forms London visa office specific instructions for FSW required origional marriage and birth certificates. Now new document check list IMM 5612 says copies and the london visa office checklist for FSW is not available.

Also they have mentioned that NO documents will be returned.

Please guide what to do.
