Dear Qorax, thank u so much for your prompt replies and a few more queries, please!

1. Is IELTS 6.5 in each module (my score)  quite safe for 4131, lecturer in english?

2. Does good score on IELTS play some role in faster processing?

3. Of how many per cent of fsw cases is verification generally done as per your opinion?

4. How many marks for education would be given for 14-year B. A. and 1-year B.Ed? That is 15 year education in total?

5. How often does it happen that one gets MR without having one's status changed to IP, and should those having received their 2nd aor as old as in Aug 2010 from london vo, pre june applicants,  consider their cases in process/how often is it possible their background checks are being conducted while their ecases are RBVO? Please elaborate!

Thanks and regards,

New delhi visa office is faster (please note: there is no visa office named "India". 1 member wrote India as his visa office instead of "new Delhi" and CIO returned his application)

Dear Qorax,

I came across many times you mensioning about visa quota depletion during the year.
Please let me know / clarify the following;

1) Visa quota is alloted from Jan to Dec or Sep to Aug each year?
2) Is it visa office specific or common to all visa office?
3) Are quotas alloted based on total issues of Visa or SW1/Work permit/Visit....?
4) Will they process further only if visas are available?
5) Ours is London VO & we have completed medical on 28th July 2011. Will they process further and request for PHEP or we need to wait for quota? If so approximately how long it takes.
6) As per the previous case analysis London Visa office takes 6 to 8 weeks after medical to request PHEP? Will they stick to that?

Kindly reply at the earliest.

Best regards,

1. Yes, it is [for any NOC].
2. No. But a poor one could be detrimental. Avg. 6.5 is safe.
3. B/ground checks r done for everyone... what mode it takes depend on many factors - your 'way' of case filing is one of them.
4. Read OP-6.
5. e-Cas doesn't reflect the 'real-time' processing. 'In Process' means the file is being 'worked' upon - what's inside is immaterial.

Dear Qorax,

I also would add one more question.

I have sent my RPRF to London VO, payable at Canada. Will this delay my process?
As on date the DD is not encashed even after 4 weeks? Will this indicate any thing?

Please answer.

1. Calendar year.
2. VO specific.
3. Imm-Cat wise.
4. If it is 'full' - yes, they'd wait for the next yr.
5. Cannot be opined.
6. It is 3-5 months from the date your meds reach the RMO.
7. RPRF d/d payable @ Canada -- No issues.

Dear Qorax,

While we are using Representative, can we also directly send our quiries to visa office? will they answer us directly?

Is there any way to know visa quota status as on date of any visa office?

Hi,
I have gone through a number of threads. very informative. Require suggestions for my querries.
I plan to move with my family till the time i get my PR card. Would go back to India for my work n then go to canada again in 2012 for 2 months with my family. Then again return back to India and finally will move permanently sumwhere in 2013.
1) during my first visit of 45 days, is it mandatory for me to apply for SIN Health card if  i dont intend to stay permanently this time.

2) Is it ok if apply for SIN, Driving lisence and Health card in 2013 when i move permanently.

3) Also the bank account in canada: Is it ok if i open it in 2013.

4) During the period between my first landing and the time i finally move in 2013 to settle do I have to pay taxes in canada for the income i earned in India.
 Plz reply Qorax
