Dear qorex,
After many days, yesterday I checked my status, it was changed from "RVO" to "In Process" , don't know exact date when it was changed. Then I tried to get more information by clicking "In Process", the following message was there:

"We received your application for permanent residence on March 20, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on June 3, 2010. The London England office may contact you."

I have some questions here, I need your expert replies .
May 29, 2010 is the date when they issued me 1st. AOR. They didn't mention about 2nd AOR's issuing date. I sent my complete application to London visa office on Sep. 12, 2010, then how can they transfer my case to London office on 3rd June 2010?
Secondly if they have sent my case to London on 3rd June 2010, then why r they telling me so late almost after 14 months and changed status to "in process"?
regards,

That June 2010 date is when they had issued u the 120 days letter [to submit the complete package to your VO]. A cc of it was sent to the CHC, the same moment, to signify that your case stood 'transferred' to them.

Dear Qorax,

I did sent inquiry to Buffalo VO for follow up on my application. And they replied as follow:

CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the review of applications throughout the year.

We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from April 2010 during the current calendar year.

Canadian Consulate General, Buffalo New York

Immigration Section

www.buffalo.gc.ca

I have question;
1- what does this mean, did they had totally stopped working on pre june 2010 applicant?
2- You have any idea what is going on at Buffalo VO??
3- When they will resume processing of Pre June application???

Please reply.

Thank you very much.

No, they haven't 'stopped' working - just that the 'quota' comes into play during this time of the yr -- every yr.

The same happened with me also.  CHC London sent back only my original documents in March-2011 but on my requests

Have they conveyed any decision in your case. I didn't ask for original documents back.

Dear Qorax, the Pride of the Forum, would you please take time to help me with your expert replies!

 My timelines and details are:

NOC 4131, complete application submitted in june 2010, pre june applicant, 2nd aor in august 2010, ecas RBVO, vo london, my country Pakistan.

Queries:

1. It is now a year since i got my 2nd aor. When do you think my ecas should be changed to IP and should i write to vo regarding the same? i have not written to the vo thinking i would get a standard reply.

2. Now after about 14 plus months of complete application submission to london vo, what are the chances of my job verification?

3. I want to take long leave of about 6 months to a year. Would my taking leave or quitting my job now weaken/affect my case?

4. When do you think I should expect to receive my MR?

Thanks and warmest regards,

Ghafoor

U'll receive a 'non-repliable' email... in your inbox. Check your 'junk' folder too.
Qorax

Thanks Master/Captain,
I did not receive any 'non-repliable' email. Nothing in the 'junk' folder too. Maybe the email was not sent. Will try again.
Thanks again.

1. U r likely to receive that std reply... nonetheless there's no harm in writing to them... it might rekindle your processing.
2. 50:50. They can do it anytime, or might not too.
3. If u stand already 'qualified' - it wouldn't make any diff. However, do info that to your VO... they need to be kept 'in loop'.
4. Can't say... besides this time of the yr is bad for all VO's [the yrly quota thing!].

Good luck.
