Usually one should obtain his/her CAIPS/GCMS extract once the case is delayed beyond normal. At this stage much info might not be logged in your CAIPS, except a PSDEC.

Your call.

Hi Qorax,

Do you mean to say that the visa officer has still not looked into my file for all these months. What must be going on then?

Captain,

Do u think the pre-June 2010 applicants will be on a queue like pre-Feb 2008 applicants? I mean do they need to wait for year after year? Especially for those who are not in current NOC list.

Highly appreciate if u could please shed some light on the processing times for pre-June 2010.

Regards,

Each of them have a separate queue in their respective VOs. Eg. the Pre-MI list ones, the post-MI1 ones, the post-MI2 ones etc. And they r processed as they come out of the queue. Besides there's also a queue in every stage... thus, sometimes on a BF'D nothing might be worked on a file & a fresh BF'D could be placed.

They have, but there r queues to beat in every stage... and the 'weight' [waiting period] of that queue gets reduced as we go higher in the processing stages. Eg. the queue during Initial Review is the biggest... while during the meds it's smaller... further up, it'd be the smallest during PPR stage. Why? Those many Nos. of files r reduced as the processing moves forward in the VO.

It means no one can predict the tentative time of processing?

The response to med furtherance come by 6-8 weeks. Wherafter, u may send a query to your VO.

Hi Qorax,
Thanx for the reply. I must say you have such indepth knowledge of the processing at the visa office stage.  I feel I have not got such response from any tracker.

Qorax, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!

For the past 2 months New Delhi visa office has not been  issuing MR,PPR. This is what I have seen in the New Delhi tracker. There are so many in RBVO status. What could be the reason? Is it the quota for the current year is exhausted?

Regards,
CHEERSMAN.
