To Master Qorax,

Today marks the another week that CEM received our MR (meaning 13 weeks), and my e-cas still in process.  I'm very anxious of waiting the result, sorry to tell you Captain Qorax.. So now, what comes in mind to let go the anxiety, im planning to e-mail CEM as to the status of my application, but prior to email CEM I would like to seek any comments or suggestions from our Master, if my decision to write CM is okay or not?

Any seniors who made an e-mail following up your application are welcome to share your experiences too.

Thanks..

Hi Master Qorax!

It's been 12 weeks now from receipt of our MR to CEM and still no words from them and I never attempt to inquire so far.  I would like to know if the letter request for med furtherance is thru e-mail or snail mail?  What's the implication for the delay? does it means no furtherance test to undertake? or what?

Thanks Qorax

Have patience... it usually takes 3-4 months to get the PPR after meds... and sometimes it might go till 5-7 months as well. W/out your security clearance the PPR will not be released. U have come this far -- hold-on a bit !

Hi Qorax, after some time...

1. I can see that you often mention 3-4 months awaiting period after submitting the Medical Report. Is that period typical for London VO only, or generally for all VOs ?

2. What is the time frame for doing the medical once received the request from VO?

3. Your help and answers are highly appreciated, and simply amazing!! Wink

1. It's a generalized timeframe for all CHCs.
2. It'd be notified in the meds request... usually they give 45, or 60, or 90 days to complete the meds.

My situation goes like this..

We received your application for permanent residence on September 23, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 26, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 8, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

First passports were sent in the month of April but in June month they returned my passport as lamination was not OK so after renewing my PP I sent it back to NDVO in June itself alongwith old passport and now it's Long Wait and wait only.....

I have to send the renewed passport by 23 July..

Please guide what should I do..

Regards..

Qorax Sir,

Please reply.

Dear Qorax,

One Question that comes to all applicant`s mind

Why VO/CIO take long time to issue VISA after Medical ?

As we are all aware that they check Security verification n all . But do you think they take long time to do it ?

1. There's a queue to beat.
2. The meds need 'secondment' from Ottawa.
3. The S/Checks must be completed... and it takes time... longer for certain cases.

Hi..
I am planning to submit application for CSQ, need quick help in calculating my points.
Both me and my spouse studied in India.
About me (Age 32)
B.com (Bachelor's degree in Commerce)
PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business management -  Specialization in Systems/IT)
Work exp. more than 10 years for an IT company (5 year in India, 5.5+ in USA) as Business analyst and currently I am a Technical analyst
Language of communication is English only

About my  Spouse (age 30)
BBA (Bachelor's in Business Administration)
MBA (Master's in Business Administration)
Work exp. 4.5 years
Language of communication is English only

We have 2 kids(twins) 28 months old  born in USA

Please let me know how many points do we score for CSQ (without French knowledge)?

Based on the points we have scored, are they going to call us for the interview (we are currently in US) ?

Do we need to pay CSQ/PR fees for our kids (as both kids have US passport)?

Thanks in advance!!!
