They don't. But if the kid has any kind of hearing impairment the DMP'd know/detect it.

Hi,
   I have gone through a number of threads. very informative. Require suggestions for my querries.
I plan to move with my family till the time i get my PR card. Would go back to India for my work n then go to canada again in 2012 for 2 months with my family. Then again return back to India and finally will move permanently sumwhere in 2013.
1) during my first visit of 45 days, is it mandatory for me to apply for SIN Health card if  i dont intend to stay permanently this time.

2) Is it ok if apply for SIN, Driving lisence and Health card in 2013 when i move permanently.

3) Also the bank account in canada: Is it ok if i open it in 2013.

4) During the period between my first landing and the time i finally move in 2013 to settle do I have to pay taxes in canada for the income i earned in India.

Today i found that my daughter passport number in visa & landing paper are wrong . They have printed G 3540808 but actually correct passport no. is J 3540808. Now please advise m what to do i am depreeeeesed & worried.
Is i have to send only my daugter pasport & landing paper for corection or i have to send meee, my wife & DAUGHTER PASSPORT FOR CORRECTION TO CIC LONDON.
pLEASE TELL ME WHICH ADDRESS & HOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE TO COME BACK.

I AM WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY IMEDIATELY, SO I CAN TAKE ACTION ON THE SAME.

I know LAP TOP is cheaper if i buy it from there but not sure on Mobile phone device .

I also heard that there are some special days when there is heavy discount on all this kind of stuffs.

There are TWO check boxes asking for ORIGINAL

for the First one I am sending a Bank Certificate Letter showing my current saving balance.

BUT, can't get what to do with the Second Check Box??

The ideal action is to return the PRV+COPR for correction [only the daughter's]... However, just my way of handling it, go for your 'landing' asap with the same ones... 99.99% there won't be any issues.

1. Yes, u can... but sometimes the VO plays hardball & asks u to come thru the consultant instead. Not always though.
2. Ask the VO for a 'Case Progress Update' & they'd inform u.

1. No. U can obtain the SIN later, unless u do any Fin.Transactions in between. The OHIP anyway cannot be applied before 90 days of stay in Ontario, & most provinces [Alberta & Manitoba excluded].

2. Yes.

3. Not required now, if u aren't residing here & needing cheques.

4. Not required. If u don't have 'primary residential ties' here - u don't file your Tax Returns.
