Dear Qorax,

I have a couple of questions, and would very much appreciate your help:

Our skilled worker application is currently RBVO (London office).  We had hired a representative, but we are very unhappy with them at this stage and would like to cancel the appointment.

1. The guide to form (IMM 5561) instructs us to send the form to the "office where you submitted your original application".  Does that mean we should send it to the CIO in Nova Scotia rather than the consulate in London?

2. Form 5561 does not include an updated address/email section.  We want to ensure that the address is changed back to ours (rather than representative's).   Do we make the change through the London office web form?  How long does it take to switch addresses? We're concerned about the transition, and want to ensure we don't miss any communication from the CIC.

3. If the form is to be submitted to the London office, could we submit a scanned copy of it through their web form, or do we have to send the original via post/courier?

Hi Qorax!  This is me again, I'm so worried now if my medical result really arrived in CEM, my information re: MR received by CEM last May 17, 2011  is from my DMP's Secretary through the tracking number that they gave to me.  Today is the 16th weeks or 4 mos. from may 17, 2011 and my e-cas remains in process. I wonder if my MR really received by CEM or maybe it was displaced.  No words from CEM as of today. What will I do? Sorry Qorax for being anxious.

Thanks

To Master Qorax,

Today marks the another week that CEM received our MR (meaning 13 weeks), and my e-cas still in process.  I'm very anxious of waiting the result, sorry to tell you Captain Qorax.. So now, what comes in mind to let go the anxiety, im planning to e-mail CEM as to the status of my application, but prior to email CEM I would like to seek any comments or suggestions from our Master, if my decision to write CM is okay or not?

Any seniors who made an e-mail following up your application are welcome to share your experiences too.

Thanks..

Hi Dreamergirl,
You are not alone. I have been waiting since April 22nd. My e-case still remains in process. I also ask myself the same question i.e. whether they received or misplaced the MR. From the forum, if they do not receive your MR, they'll send you an email to let you know. Since we did not receive such an email, I would like to assume that ours is fine.
For your info as well, some people have waited for more than 5 months before PPR is requested. Guess we are one of those.
We'll keep each other updated. Oh yes, I sent a case specific enquiry to my VO yesterday. You might want to do the same.
Best of Luck

Dear Qorax,

I need your advise on POF. As i am from INDIA.

What if i carry Travel cash card (Axis bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC bank) provide to buy & withdraw money in ATM in Canada  as POF ?

Do they accepted as POF ?

Also what if i have USD with me to show them as POF ? Do they accept USD as POF ?

What is good option Bank Draft or TC ? from cost-benefit wise ?

Please advise me.

1. IMM-5561 [Use of Rep, or it's cancellation] should go to the VO [CHC] not to CIO-NS.
2. U could 'change' your address thru the e-Cas link.
3. U need to send the original via snail mail.
