can you please tell about educational transcripts?what if we do not accompany transcripts right now. But all the degrees and certificates are sent along with application. will application package be returned? and what if we have sent notarized copy of transcript but not university envelope sealed copy?
Please comment on it.

Dear qorax my plan is that by early next year will do our landing (me, my wife and my 2 year old son). my first question is that: 1. Is it a must (compulsory) to apply for a S.I.N once you land (canada) even if you just intend to do the landing formalities? 2. and if yes, what if me and my son will just do the landing formalities and be back to our home country, do the unfinished business we left, come back to canada after 3 years...now my question is am I oblige to pay income tax to canada for the 3 years (even im not physicallly in canada)  ? I highly appreciate if you can answer this one......thanks in advance |

Your PR Status will become invalid and u might not be permitted to enter Canada. 2(b). U don't file tax returns if u don't have residential ties here. Qorax |

Hi Master Qorax! It's been 12 weeks now from receipt of our MR to CEM and still no words from them and I never attempt to inquire so far. I would like to know if the letter request for med furtherance is thru e-mail or snail mail? What's the implication for the delay? does it means no furtherance test to undertake? or what? Thanks Qorax Firstly Relax! That precondition of your hubby is not a medical inadmissibility issue.
He's likely to have a med furtherance... the letter is likely to arrive by 8-10 weeks... then his sputum culture would be done [ @ the same DMP's location]... it takes 8-10 weeks to observe & report [by the DMP].
As the med furtherance report reaches the RMO - they take again another 3-6 weeks to 'second' that -- and then the PPR is issued, with a 'medical surveillance form'.
U 'land' & visit the nearest Health Canada clinic [dealing with such cases]... they further take additional tests [similar to the ones u already took with the furtherance] - and issue u an 'all clear' cert.
That's about it. U would have some delays... but wouldn't be denied.

Dear Senior,
I am a telecom consultant working in dubai, UAE.
I have applied for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) after getting sponsorship from a canadian recruiting company. M NOC is 9990.7.
i have submitted my complete package on 13th june along with Demand Draft of 450$, However i have not received any feedback even after 8 weeks (where as on wen they say a time frame of 7 weeks).
Now i urgently need my passport back (since i have sent my original PP along with other documents( as per instruction from my Representative). My representative is saying that only way to request the passport is by sending them an email.
I have requsted the canadian immigration in Abu Dhabi using email to send me back my passport since i have a business committment, however even after 10 days i have not received any feedback.
Can someone please help me as how to receive my passport urgently.

Thanks for you reply. I just want to ask you something abt my friend.
He been to Aus for student visa, one time he detained at airport because the think he is not genuine student but after lot of enquire they satisfied that he is genuine student and Aus immigration release him. He sent his NOC as well.
My question is, is this will effect his security checks? Will CHC know that he was detained in Aus?
My friend is in stress plz help

Hi dear captan qorex,,,,,
I am a pre june 2010 applicant of the London vo. NOC 4131,college lecturer
My status is RBVO ,2nd AOR received in April 2011,
In the mean time I am planning to look for some new profession as i am interested in the areas like Nursing and welding,I want to get canadian education in one of these professions,my questions are
1 can i apply for student visa while my immigration case is on its way to be decided as yet?
2 At this stage can I get a professional education in Nursing/welding despite having Masters in completely different field i.e Education from a pakistani university?My age is 34 at the moment,did my MA in the year 2000.
3 could you plze provide some link for the admission websites of canadian universities/institutes to get admission in my areas of interest?
4 will it delay my immigration case ?
5 what will you personally suggest for me in this regard?
