Dear Qorax,
I am very confused and please do not laugh. I just do not know how many years to put in elementary/primary and secondary/highschool, becasue I have studied in South American schools and American Schools. Please may i just put for years of elementary 8 yrs and for Highschool 4 yrs? Would that be okay? I kept asking every one and I keep getting different answers cause the answer  may vary from country to country.Please help me also with this one??
Hoping to hear from you soon and with god grace I will be able to send all the documents soon and make it to canada with my son.
Thank you in advance

U r quite right...
In Canada, "High School" (also known as "Secondary School") generally refers to schools comprising grades nine [9] through twelve [12]. Thus, till grade eight [8] it's usually accepted to be within the "Elementary School".

Dear qorex

I got PER 30th of March-2011 & post june applicant. Initial eligibility completed by CIO, I got pass mark may be. I am feeling tense next review by VO because they rejected few file for insufficient points. I have completed three years Bachelor then two years Master's from university. Will VO count 25 points  from my education? As per cic guideline I can claim. Please reply me.

Dear Qorax,

Since i haven't got response from ur side , I am afraid i didn't make my query very clear earlier... let me tell a bit about my background . i am pre june 2010 applicant and sent my application in March 2010. Since our cases are delayed , i plan to send my new application in post july 2011  too. So i am collecting documents and filling up forms again.

My query is reg. filling up Additional family information form IMM5406E, pls. let me know as my wife is the principal applicant and this form needs to be filled up by both of us , whose name will appear in the space provided in the  FIRST ROW FOR APPLICANT .

Will it be my wife name as she is the principal applicant in both forms ( to be filled by both of us separately) ?

or Will it be my wife name to be filled up in the form by her and My name in the form filled up by me in the space provided for  APPLICANT  .

Regards

Hello Qorax,

I have a query reg. filling up the 'Additional family information form IMM5406E ' . I read somebody experience on this forum  and i am quoting it from one of our forum member response  verbatim below :

' in the Additional Info, a lot of successful (by successful i mean those who already have their visas) applicants shared with us how they filled it up. and that is the PA under the applicant column, and the spouse under the spouse column even if it is the spouse's turn to state his/her family members. there is only one PA between husband and wife, the others become dependents, unless they are both PA, submitting different or separate application packages and paying processing fees each. it has been stated too in my previously returned documents by the CIO themselves, during one of the errors made by my previous agents. '

As in our case my wife is the principal applicant and we both need to fill our family details - So should we include my wife name in the applicant column AND my name in the spouse/common law partner  in the separate forms to be signed by us separately ?  Is this the correct way.

Your response will be great help to us ..... as we are very confused at the moment and donot end up making mistake.

Thanks .

Firstly, hit the e-Cas & check-out what's your processing status.

The online tracking is not working on my case, it says no record with my details.......i am worried about it....tried sending email to CHC London but its been almost 35days and no response from them till now.

 Could you plz tell me the meaning of all abbrevations which are used for canada PR such as AOR , PER etc . Really sorry if it sounds absurd to ask about all this. But i really dunno these and i also applied under noc 1122 so was js curious.
Thanking in advance.

We use so many that it's not possible to list all... try listing the ones u want to know & we'd elaborate them. Meanwhile,
AOR=Acknowledgement of Receipt
PER=Positive Eligibility Review

Ps.: Check the General Forum of this website... there r 2 sticky topics there for Acronyms & CAIPS Codes.
