Dear Qorax,
I am a dentist and they are requesting for self employed people that they must provide documentation from 3rd party individuals indicating
the service provided along with payment details. Please help!!!!! Can the accountant be the third party or who do you suggest?? This i got from the new 2011 checklist.

please guide.. if an international driving license makes any difference ..means ..is it more benificial than an ordinary one so as to get a G2 driving license in Ontario? I `M FROM INDIA.

Can someone else receive the call for interview (if needed) on behalf of principal applicant if he/she is not present in country at the time the call is made? I ask this because sometimes CHC just calls instead of sending a letter. Can I receive this call on her behalf then relay interview date to her?

Dear friends,
My application, under NOC code of 3113, has been received by CIO on 10th May, 2011; However, My unpaid lawyer's credit card has not been charged yet. I have recently inquired about my application status and CIO's officer replied me: "Your application is awaiting for initial processing. Notification will be sent in due course." What is yours about my case?
As the cap has reached a week after my application has been received, do you think that I probably have the chance of receiving PER in coming days?

i have sent my application in may 2010,i dint receive any mail letter,i have recently found an email dated October 2010 asking to send full documentation in 120 day,not reading the MSG,i dint send the documents,and when i checked my application status today it says its in process and that they have sent me a letter in June 2011 which till now i did not receive by mail or email,so plz tell me what shall i do...
plz this so urgent plz help me guys..

Remember, an International Driving License isn't a 'self-standing driving license'... it's to be viewed in conjunction to your existing driving license, which has been obtained thru regular processing. That means, the IDP/IDL isn't 'actually' a driving license -- but an extension to your 'original' one. Which finally means that it's of no use towards obtaining your Ontario-G2. Qorax |

An interview call will always come by a paper mail... 'coz, they need to send u certain instructions... viz, docs required, presence of spouse etc. Yes, in a few cases they might send u a tele-call as well, but that's usually a pre-notification. Qorax |

Captain Qorax,
One of my colleagues claimed 5 points as he has 1st blood relative in Canada. He has got a phone call from SGVO recently. The person from SGVO asked him (the applicant) to provide some written assurance collected from his (the applicant's) relative that s/he (the relative) will assist him (the applicant) in Canada. I am not sure what sort of assistance the VO meant? Please note that he is a pre-June 2010 applicant.
Could you please shed some light on this matter?

they need some kind of document that prof relation with the applicant.like birth certificate.or education certificate where mentioned name of father.if the applicant have brother of sister. and secondly the applicant who live in canada wirte simple letter give the details of relationship and should notarize in canada.
