Dear Qorax,

Please check out my application details by the side. My E-CAS is RBVO since April 4, 2011, whereas several November & December 2010 applicants have even received their MRs! What would you speculate as the reason for this?

Also, I noticed that at number of places you have opined that the E-CAS is, in fact, not very reliable. So do you think that would be the case with my ECAS too? In the sense that the application might be IN PROCESS already but the E-CAS is acting nasty?

Lastly, I read your brief note on CAIPS on this thread. Can you please tell me in what circumstances is it advisable to send one such request? In my case, it would be a bit premature to send it, no?

You are doing great job!

Thanks a ton,

I never heard of consultants doing anything right the first time.... they just act like Post Offices. Anyways you need to do everything yourself. They just take all the more time even to forward a simple letter to the Visa Office.
You can send an e-mail or letter to the Visa Office asking for a clarification.

What happiness does 2nd AOR brings?
is it the time the time that one should relax that he is eligible for immigration, I mean his points of eligibility are enough or it's just acknowledgment of recording documents, because  I am confused that at what time should a person be relaxed that he has enough points to be eligible

2nd AOR is just an 'Acknowledgment of Receipt' of documents at Visa Office & creation of a file.
'In Process' status means that points have been calculated & processing has begun on your file. Although you can relax a bit, but the real relaxation comes only when you receive the Visa in your hands !! Wink

Dear Yukon,

How about "In Process" with "RBVO" inside? Does this mean the same (processing started)?
