Hey Qorax..
One of my friend got her visa... & her visa is valid till 07.11.11, now they intend to fly on 06.8.11. What do you think they will face any problem at the immigration check counter... because of not having the complete six months validity of passport ??
British Airways has raised this concerned to her while booking the tickets. Her details are as follows:
Principal Applicant: Passport Validity till 08.11.11
Visa Validity till 07.11.11
Spouse:Passport Validity till 15.11.11
Visa Validity till 07.11.11
Anticipating a quick reply. Rgds,Raj.
U can 'land' till a day's validity of the pps... there's no requirement for 6 months or even a month/week's validity... that concern raised by BA was w.r.t. Visit Visa's [this is same with all airlines] - u can info them that u r settling there & not visiting. Also remember, pps renewal could cost u a bomb in Canada... it'd be wise that u 'revalidate' them before leaving your homeland. Try & not to get another booklet issued, but get the "pp extended stamp". Qorax

Dear Qurox, I need your advice. My consultant refused to give me the second AOR and connected deatails. When asked, he told me it is his policy not to disclose the 2nd Filing details to the clients. I am neither able to view my E-CAS with out this number nor get any updates on my process. What should I do to get recent updates on my application? Is it right on his part to hide the basic details from his clients? Pls help.
Your CONsultant needs a kick in his A. U have paid a fortune to him, didn't u? Then how does he deny your own 'personal' case docs? Tell him to shove his policies up his A & give u your money's worth. Alternatively, u may wan't to report him to the CSIC, and/or withdraw his rep from your VO, and/or change your address with the CIC processing. Qorax

Dear Qorex,
I applied in November, 2010. Recently I got PER from CIC and said my file will be transferred to VO (London). When I applied, I submitted all supporting document except PCC. Now should I send my PCC to the visa office voluntarily, or wait for VO's request? Please give me you opinion.
Regards/.. Biborno

Dear Quorex, Thanks for your quick reply. You don.t know how much help you are rendering to the "worried group of applicants". Can you pls elaborate how I can change my address without being able to go through my E-Cas and all the alternatives-report to CSIC, withdraw his rep etc... Have a nice day.

Firstly, go to his office & create a ruckus - till he gives u the file No. 'Coz, w/out it u'd have difficult time communicating with your VO... also, for all the other actions. Sometimes one might be able to touch-base with the VO with the 1st file No. as well -- but, it'd could be tricky & time consuming. So, empower yourself - yell @ the agent in the first instance. Qorax

thank you qorax for ur reply. i have a few more questions to ask regarding PCC. According to the guide it says PCC has to be obtained from any place we have stayed for more than 6 months, I have stayed in a many cities in India does that mean i have to visit all those places for PCC as I have mentioned all these addresses in my background declaration form or can i just obtain PCC from passport office where my current passport is issued. another issue is looking at the current timelines at NDVO, if everything is fine with my application then by gods grace i should get the requests for MR, PCC and PPR by june end or july, but iam scheduled to go abroad for 3 weeks in the 2nd week of july, in that case if i need to get PCC from all the cities i have lived in should i apply for it right now while iam in the country so that they will arrive by the time i get back and then i can sent it to them immediately. How much time do we have to submit the documents after they ask for them?
thanks gopi

Hello Qorax
How are you. I would like to ask you question regarding my daughter's admission to Canadian School and CIIP program.
1) It is mentioned on the website that you must have proof of your child immunization for few diseases. I have a hospital card showing tick marks and date of immunization against those disease. It is okey or do we need a letter from the doctor certifying the same.
2) Is it compulsory to get enroll for CIIP Program? Please rely
Thanks and Regards Sachin

Dear Qorax, Here comes my new doubt, may be answer worth. Can you please explain the two types of applicants: Pre June and Post June 2010 applicants? The applicant who applies for PR for the first time before June 2010 and gets his First AOR in June 2010 comes in which category? The one who gets his/her Second AOR in November 2010 comes in which category? Does pre June mean 2nd AOR before June?

PCCs r country specific - not city specific. Meaning: U submit One PCC for the entire country. Qorax

1. That health Card should be fine - just get a sign & stamp in it somewhere from the Doc. 2. CIIP is a infoshare pgme - intended to prepare u for the days after landing... it's not a must to attend. Qorax

It's "pre-26/6/2010" & "post-26/6/2010". That's the day your file reached the CIO. Qorax
