Dear Qorax,

I have important question to ask,
All applicants who have got 2AOR, can check their status by 2 file numbers, I wanna ask is it possible that if by using 1 file number online status is de-activated, 2nd file number remains active. i.e. if account is de-activated by 1 file number can be checked by other file number or 2nd file number will be automiatically blocked or de-activated?Huh

Kindly commint.

Unfortunately no one can opine on what's on CIC's mind/s. But, it's expected that some major changes will occur on the Immigration system.
Qorax

Hello!!!
I am Sohel from India... I have applied for immigration through 0631 code. I had applied on November 2010 and received the docket and file no on 3rd of March 2011.. I have shown my aunt (my first dad's sister) as my blood relation but our family has a a problem with surname... My dad surname is Merchant and my aunt's surname is Ladkawala before her marriage. This was due to family issues... Now this saturday my file got rejected. And my agent (Y-AXIS) has decided for a plea and accept my file as it has been accepted in Canada but not in India....
So can u suggest me what shall I do ahead???
Regards,
Sohel

The file No. which u get from the VO will work perfectly well.

Multiple applications can move side-by-side, so if u r in the new system - u could move another one as well.

If u could 'prove' the direct family linkage - u could send a mercy plea... Else, it'd be tough.

Both of their Parent's names would be same then. Attach that with an explanation letter stating the genuine reasons for her name change, alongwith whatever supporting docs u could lay your hand to.

1yr from the meds, or the expiry of anyone of the family member's pps, whichever is earlier.

PM replied...

U probably meant Jan-2012 !
No, there's no requirement of pps 'extended' validity during landing...it mustn't be expired that's it.

Dear Qorax,

One more question!

I have sent my medical on 23 April, other document (...PCC, Froof of Fund, Bank statements... all) received on 04 April 2011. My E-cas changes as "Medical Papers received..." on 20 May, Now how much time it may take to get the passport request?
