Qurox, help me....my noc 7263 metal fabricator, recently i received a chc letter about my pour ielts ,my score is 5.5 ,I HAVE AN AEO AND 72 POINT,JOB OFFER.But visa officer ask me to comment on ur ielts score, otherwise he will make a discision,my company only requred secondary school qualification and medium ability to speak and write it already mensioned in aeo  ,they send letter 3 feb but i got it 22 nd day time limit only 30 days what i will do?help me urgent

Pls help me qurax pls answer my old qustion

Obviously they r bugged with your 'low' IELTS score & the prospective Job Offer. They'd grill u on both the angles, when called. Be prepared with suitable answers, especially on the AEO -- and u'd be comfortably set to go.

QORAX,

I want to apply for a study permit for my son. I was made to know that Convincing the Visa Officer that an individual will leave on completion of the course is the cause of many rejections. Others have suggested providing that you have a property, an awaiting job on completion of course in home country, Family(wife and children) etc. my son is 16 and does not have any of that,  i would be the one sponsoring his education. What do i need to provide to convince the Visa Officer that he would leave on completion of his course?

If u, as a father, r also a PR applicant - it'd be a hard-call convincing the CIC that your son'd leave.
Think about it!

Dear all,

I did my medical in December and submitted the landing fee and one year bank statement in the same month but today I heard from the Agent that the visa office has again wanted ONE YEAR YEAR BANK STATEMENT which I gave in Jan.It really sounds strange to me. I was eagerly waiting for PPR while they want me to give the Bank statement again. I am really worried because of it. At present the amount in the bank is one third which I showed to them.I am worried now. Please share your experience to make me happy or guide me.

Thank you

If your 'current supplied' bank statements have at least the CIC required funds [the pax table ones], if not more, u have nothing to worry.

Qorax,
I supplied PRFP with full documents (bank draft).   When CHC encashes this draft what does it signal?   At what stage is draft cashed?    Thanks!!

                                                "QUESTION ABOUT MY FRIEND'S APPLICATION"

Dear Qorax,
My friend applied in Feb,2009(VO: Singapore)
For the last 6-7 months his E-cas status was "In process"
He didn't get "Medical resquest" but from day before yesterday his E-cas is showing "Decision made" with a details "Decision has been made on.....and it will be forwarded to you"
He got tensed since some are saying that "Decision made" before "medical Request" means application refusal.
I am waiting for your valuable opinion on this

Yes, a DM @ this stage signifies 'rejection'. However, the e-cas has been erratic since sometime... pray that it's so for this case too.

Just chkd Ecas. My Status finally changed to In Process today. But inside the link the info is same as
RBVO. Thoroughly confused again........ Don't know if I shud be Happy or not? :-(

I am a regular member of the thread "File Xfer to CHC ND in JAN/FEB/MAR" on Canadavisa.com immigration forum.

Strangely 3-4 of my fellow members also got "in Process" today and their link info is also same as RBVO.....

Pls share ur advice Qorax......Just want to be truly happy and relaxed after a long long time...........

Case Processing Timeframe

Hi,

The moment your e-cas goes to 'in process' - STOP LOOKING @ IT, please. It doesn't help u -- neither it is [the e-cas] any 'tool' to check our case progress. Understand the timeframe instead:

Meds:
6-9 months from 2nd stage docs SENT,
OR
4-6 months from the 2nd AOR,
OR
3-5 months from any Addnl.Docs Request.

PPR:
3-5 months from Meds Received  @  CHC,
7 months for some cases - with security issues,
[God forbid] Furthered Meds - need another 3-5 months,
[God forbid] External Security Check/s - may take the case to 9-12 months.

If PPR & Meds r together:
U r looking @ a total of 3-6 months for the Meds Validation + Security Clearances to fetch your PRVs - in 'normal' circumstances.

DANGER:
After Pps SENT -- DO NOT correspond with your VO*, s/he might just return your Pps 'unstamped' [and ask u to send them later].

Note:
Anytime the processing goes beyond the foregoing timeframe - pls feel free to contact your VO. U may use either the CIC 'webform' or email 'directly' to them.

Qorax
*Till 5-7 months.
