It's not a rejection call, as yet, and might not lead to as well. U could be good to go. It's just a notification to let u know that ur VO is overwhelmed with activity/ies and would commence processing older files soon.

Hello Qorax, How do you mean delay yes, rejection no,could you please specify if it is possible after the decision to cancel the pre feb 2008 applicants. I would also like to know if those applicants who have sent updated documents stand a chance to have a seldec 1 given. Thanks |

Dear quarax. I send my passport, pcc, bank balance etc in march 15th and my medical dine 28 feb 2012 so still I am waiting my for my passport and still it in process but I want to width row some amount of money from my balance so can I take that or I have to wait till Dm , is there any proble if now I widthrow some money? Can you highlight when will I get MR,PPR etc.....On the folllowing status.
We received your application for permanent residence on March 31, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 3, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on June 8, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 16, 2012.

Sir Qorax,how are you?Hope youre always in agood state of health.I have a question regarding our case,this month our DMP submmitted my son's clearance,after 9 mos of furtherance meds atlast its done already.Our medical expired last March 2012,we are 5 in the family,my 3 son's including the one who undergone furtherance,ages 3,5,9.Do ypu think all of us will undergone remedical or its jus the two of us my husband and I?Thank you so much.

hello Sir Qorax...i have been a silent reader here for a month now and I am so impressed with your answers to all the queries thrown into you...you're so knowledgeable...and by the manner you answer the questions, you are so unselfish and you satisfy them with your point by point replies...and here i am now, asking for your opinion regarding my case. Here it is: I just want to know the effect of sending my application package to this address: Canadian Intake Office, 196 George Street, Sydney, NS B1P 1J3 Canada...instead of the latest address posted in the website which should have been Canadian Intake Office, 47-49 Dorchester Street, Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2, Canada...when did this change of address take place...will it affect the processing of my application?...what will happen to the forms and documents which I already submitted last March 2012?...I checked the tracking of Fedex, it was already received...the cap of noc code 6242 was reached last April 2012...could it possible that my application was not included within the cap?...until now, i haven't received any feedback yet from the CIO...thanks Qorax for taking time to look into our queries!

Hi, 1. There's a "Mailing Address" & a "Courier address" here (in IMM7000, the FSW guide, click below). As long as u had used the right one, as indicated in the guide during ur submission, u r good. BTW, I don't think the addresses had changed ever: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg762. As long as ur NOC wasn't capped till 2-months from ur submission u have a fair chance to having made it. Qorax |

Dear Qorax I applied on Jan 2011 , Received PER on Mar 2011 , Medicals done and sent along with RPRF by the end of Nov 2011 . My Ecase says : We received your application for permanent residence on January 13, 2011. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 15, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on September 27, 2011. Medical results have been received. I am from Syria But i work as a dentist and live in Saudi Arabia ... What do you think the cause of this delay ?? I there any chance for rejection ?? How much shall i have to wait  Years and Years with no answer ... Best Wishes |

Thanks for your immediate reply...at the time i submitted last March 2012, i was referring to the guide which i printed before October 2011..when i reviewed the website, the courier address has already changed....but per tracking of Fedex, it was already received by a certain person...the cap of Noc code 6242 was reached 2 weeks after my application was received...so, i am really anxious about my application...anyway, thanks again, Sir Qorax. |

I got in process with date on 21st march 2012, and in a week got 6-12 months wait letter.. What does this mean,, m I safe??? Have I passed PRDEC n SELDEC??? n would i ever get medical in future time??? What do u say???

Is there any implications to it when going to submit our passport to visa office for visa collection
Do we need to obtain another passort bearing her martial name. Or should we leave it as it is.
