Hi Qorax,

I have applied for FSW-1 in year of Oct-2010.That time i had fulltime one year experience, and currently i am working with the same company with the same job title. Now i am planning to move India for 6 months for family emergency.

Do i have to continue my job with the same field? either USA or in India? or that's fine.

Is there any bad impression on my PR file?

Thanks for your help.

H

Hi,

If u had already qualified for further processing based on ur exp (1-yr out of the last 10-yrs in that NOC) u r good to "change" ur profession. It doesn't matter now. U aren't alone, many get to be in ur shoes, personal circumstances/responsibilities do change over the time. Unless u r a CEC applicant ur relocation doesn't matter too.

Good luck.

Dear Qorax,

I have received my Medical request in Mach, 2012 and medical completed in April, 2012. I haven't include my new bron son in my application and now i am going to add him.

please advise/ suggest what would be the response of LVO to add my son after my medicals.

Thanks

Hi,

Nothing adverse. As long as u "add" ur baby before PRVs u r good. However, remember, all ur visas will have the expiry dates based on the earliest meds taken by any one of the family member/s.

And u might have a very small window for landing if the kid's paperwork take a longtime. Usually though they r done with in 2-3 months.

All the best.

Dear Qorax

Thanks for helping everybody with your great suggestions and advice and helping them for any kind of their questions.

I want some advice from you as well again.
I sent my file for PR with AEO (Already working in Canada) on Feb 15, 2012 and Received Positive Determination on March 12th 2012.
Till date i have not received any email or mail or confirmation for the file transfer to NDVO.
What would you suggest me to do and when would be the best time to enquire about my file and what are different ways to enquire about file.

Thanks

Hi,

U have come out of the 2-yrs wait-queue; and now ur processing has commenced. In 3-5 months u should be seeing some movement. Could be an ADR or meds.

All the best.

Thanks Captain! AFAIK, by ADR you mean Additional Document Request, right? I have received the document update request in Jan-2012 and sent all the update in Feb-2012. Can they still request further docs or I should received MR in coming months? Could you please shed some light when can I get MR?

Dear Qorax,
You seem the man of the match and you started this thread. But unfortunately you give some people knee-jerk response to their query while you ignore other people's questions. I humbly asked you a question 3 times and you turned a deaf ear. I give u +1.

sorry to see your demotivating post. qorax has been helping a lot of people in many ways. and all of a sudden you found him 'good for nothing' with a few days experience in this forum  Angry

if you didnt get your reply, it means a few things:

he has no idea about it (as in your case. no one can comment on your query)
    it might have replied elsewhere.
it might be a silly query.

pls dont put some ones spirits down by making silly unthoughtful statements.

Yes Sir, I meant that with ADR. And yes, they could ask any/many docs again... mostly though for Xchecking on any b/g info. As I said, give it 3-5 months to get either... Very likely ur meds.

Good luck.

Nothing seriously... Just that the process is "on" & going smooth.

Sorry mate! I think my question wasn't clear....

What I'm asking is - my MI3 application which is currently under 'In process' since 6th February 2012, how much time will it take to reach upto medical & passport request stage?

NDVO did ask me for PCC on 9th Feb. In response I wrote an explanation letter that I can't obtain PCCs and that was delivered to them on 9th March... Deadline to submit PCC was 25th March, 12.

Please advise.

Parry

2010 cases have a 2-yr "wait-queue". Ur file would come out of it in May/Jun-2012 & u'd see some movement there on.
