Dear Qorax ,

many thanks for the prompt reply, i'm a colombo based applicant, i first applied under FSW in 18 feb 2008, CHC requested for all the docs by 30 th may 2009 , but i could not meet the deadline , as i did not get the letter on time , i got an extension from them , hence submitted all my docs on 20 th Oct 2009.
only on 15/03/2012 i got a letter from CHC , asking me to submit the following docs again
1) IMM8
2) Schedule 1 and IMM 5406 for my spouse and myself
3) Photographs (my self, wife and two kids)
4) PCCs
5) Proof of recent liquid funds
6) RPRF for my spouse and myself

We have finished our meds on 20/03/2012 and submitted all the other docs on 10/04/2012 (except the srilankan PCC, as we are still waiting for it )
Qorax , please tell me what should i do , shall i order CAIPS or wait for a while.
What is the time gap for PPR, your valuable advice is highly appreciated.

God bless you Qorax

Dear Mr. Qorax,

Can I apply for two types of visa (student visa and FSW PR visa) at a time?
I have heard that the Canadian Visa Office will reject student visa while my FSW is in process. Is it true?    Roll Eyes

If not, then is it possible (or a better option) to apply as a masters student in Canada at this stage?

Thank you.

Yes, while a PR apps is under process CIC might not grant u a student's visa. However, it's not usual - but not impossible as well. There's thus, no harm in trying. But keep ur options open.

dear qorax ji

is it possible to have different timelines for same NOC (4152) under same visa office (NDVO) if application filed month is same ?

lot of people that applied in the same month (of mine) have already reached Canada or has completed meds.

any special reasons for this?

thnx in advance

Dear qorax, Pl clarify about ECU. CIC is putting ECU as prefix on some files. what does this means? If cic is sending the file to ecu for obvious reasons but why to prefix file no with ecu? It can keep the file no as it is and send it to esu for processing.Your knowledgabe comments please.

B/ground & Security Checks.
The timeframe & ease of performing them differs from case to case.
