Dear Qorax, as per your advice, i have decided to get Windmobile. I checked their website and got to know that i can just buy the windmobile SIM card and use it to my previous handset that i brought from my homecountry. if my handset supports the SIM, then i guess it's ok for few months...but i would like to get a good handset after couple of months. now, i am confused which set i should choose. some set shows $0 tab , some shows 199/249 $ Tab...what does this mean? - do u think it's wise to go for 25/month voice plan? anyway, i have another question posted here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cheapest-best-phone-internet-in-canada-t93418.0.html1. Here's the list of cellphones which works with WIND / Mobilicity [Canada] & T-Mobile [US]: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AWS_devices(I use the Nokia N9, it's not launched in North America, and is better than the iPhone, Blackberry or other Android devices. I can suggest u from where to purchase that, if u desire.)2. The 'Tab' is kind of a contract [w/out penalty caluses for early termination] wherein ur device is [sort-of]paid-for in instalments [alongwith their monthly plans]. That means, u need to go with them for a certain amount of months to get either '0' or 'very low' down payment for the device. BTW, this option is still better than the 'contract plans' of Bell, Rogers or Telus. 3. I've replied u in that thread. Qorax

Dear Captain Qorax,
A lovely day to you and thanking you in advance for all smart answers as you deal with each and everyone here.
In compliance to CIC's requirements for COE's, I am not sure whether or not to include the following work experiences as it might suggest conflict of interest to the field that I wish to pursue i.e. Public Relations / Communications, of which I have been employed as for the past 4 and half years in Dubai. ( 2007- present).
Is it advisable to claim the below? Customer Service Associate ( Call center) from 1994-2005 (10 yrs), Philippines Call Center Specialist (US directory assistance) Jan-Nov 2006 ( 6 months), Philippines
If u r already 'in process' it's not advised to submit anything on that front. However, if u r yet to apply - pls note that u stand to 'qualify' for processing if u have @ least 1-yr of experience in the applied NOC... but ur total experience in any other fetches u 'points'. Qorax

Sir Qorax,
My sister living in Canada has moved to Pakistan for some months. It matters or not? Do you advise to send my other sister's (also living in Canada) documents yet? or should wait for the request?
Thanks to be here to help.

Hi! I tell you how to order GCMS. As you have a relative there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. It can be done by email. First fill this form, your (relative) requester will sign it. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdfthen fill this consent form and sign yourself http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdfNow you can even pay fees by your own credit card even if you are not living in Canada. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (see section C, Payment time is 8am-4pm only ottawa local time) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asphttps://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.doAfter paying fees you will get receipt. Print it out and fill it. Then scan it. Ask your relative to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada. Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca Thanks
