You have to start treatment but I would like to drew your attention to some points. If u just started antihypertensive medication first time only before the consultation, you wont know how would be the effect. Another point is some medications like ACE group starts their effect after 3 weeks. Another group, like Beta blocker will affect your heart beat n the dr can find out slower heart beat. Finally, diuretics group will affect your urine concentraion and since you will go through urine analysis as well, it might change the normal elements concentration in urine.
Dear hondubai, I am already using ant-hypertension tablets with the consultation of the doctor. My question is that whether should i tell the DMP that i am using medicine or no need to tell him? regards, Humayun

1. It's tough to reopen a case after it gets refused in 'writing'. However, not impossible. 2. Reopening has no priority - thus, CIC tends to go slow. 3. Reopening also goes thru a different cell of the VO, a different IO & a different set of procedures. 4. Cases from certain region/s take more time due to higher checking/s. 5. Cases of some VOs take more time due to them being already over-clogged.
Have patience. Qorax

Dear casayed, If DMP will ask me that have you used any ant-hypertensive tab, then what should i reply?
regards,
Humayun
It doesn't matter, they cant find whether u took anti-hypertensive or not.It will b better if u take anti-hypertensive tablet few days before ur medical and check what is the bp(practice match hahah).and if it is normal try it on the day of ur Medical check up.

Please tell if cases are rejected on basis of blood pressure and diabetes and is it essential to disclose your medical history during medicals

Pm me the name of your antihypertensive drug. The point is to have the xray, the urine, and the clinical exam consistant with your medical history. Ok, let me rephrase your question; what happens If DMP asked about any medication and you denied? Some antihypertensive drugs has a side effects which could by themselves appear as a "desease" if it was not interpreted in the right context. For example, diuretics might change the urine analysis figures. Another example, is beta blockers they would decrease your heart rate. Moreover, if one patient had a history of long standing hypertension, they would have "left ventercuilar heart hypertophy" or simply u can say a "bigger heart size" on the xray and when the DMP checks your BLP and see it normal or may be even less than normal after your medicine, it would contradict the xray findings! Nevertheless, many medications has no noticable side effects. For instance, ACE inhibitors group or ARBS group go without notice.

Dear Sirs, In the guideline still it says in Step 1: Gather documents:
Translation of documents
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French tranSlation; and an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and a certified copy of the original document. Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.
Important information. Translations by family members are not acceptable.
Certified true copies
To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:
“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”, the name of the original document, the date of the certification, his or her name, his or her official position or title, and his or her signature. Who can certify copies?
Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:
In Canada:
a commissioner of oaths a notary public a justice of the peace Outside Canada:
a judge a magistrate a notary public an officer of a court of justice a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living Family members may not certify copies of your documents.
Now my question: Is the photocopy of the document not mandatory to notarize for MI-3 applicants? If not needed, please assist us showing the link where it is written that no notarization is needed for documents? Thanks for your assistance in advance. deba_avik
