As per instruction from CIC for the form IMM 0008, the barcode pages should be placed on the

Good finding. Where is this instruction? I did not do so, probably they need to work hard for getting bar code page after 4 pages. Sorry Sirs Wink

If there is such instruction, it is wise to keep the page on the top where there is only barcode.

1. Ur brought-in monies r never taxed.
2. Ur brought-in assets won't attract duties if listed on B4 while 1st landing.

Well Bro,

Let me take it from ur own query that u had posted earlier: Whether it's wise to show 'intended occupation' different than the NOC u had applied for.

The simple answer is that NO. Why? The IO's assess our files depending on (1)eligibility on the MI [whether there's demand for that NOC currently in Canada] and (2)How the applicant is going to be easily settling post 'landing'.

Now, if u apply under, say 0111 (Accountants), and state that post landing u'd take a 0213 (IT professionals) job... u maybe qualified under both... but CIC'd like to see some sort of dexterity & consistency in ur intensions, vis-a-vis the 'demand' of that occupation in Canada. There thus, s/he might be wary and might not view ur case positively.

I don't say there could be imminent rejection -- but the chances r that ur file might be kept at (a)abeyance and/or (b)any/many queries may be resorted to... Meaning: Delays!

In that column [though] u might state many NOCs that u intend to pursue... at least one of them should be the NOC that u have applied for/against. Uh yes, those 'other' NOCs that u suggest as ur alternate intended profession - must have ur skills clubbed to it. Else how? And those addnl skills must be demonstrated in ur apps via any/many docs, vis-a-vis edn / exp / trg.

I hope that clarified...

Qorax

Thanks a lot, Captain!
As it's often said that not many foreign education, experience, etc are recognized in Canada, I guess that with no clear job prospect for my NOC 4131, I'd better take up training from start in another field. And I think that plan is quite well within my means.
Do you think VO will share my view if I fill in IMM0008 with my real intention.

Dear captain
please say something about my case i am realy worried.

how r u .hope u would be fine qorax i have some confution in my mind and i want ur suggestion about my case i send my documents in profession of accountant in oct-2010 to london office. my employer wrote same duties as it was mentioned at cic website because they were matcing with my job description.they didnt wrote all of them but wrote only some of those which were matching with my job description and which i perform in my office.i didnt applied through any consultant so no one told me that i must not write same wording as it was wrriten on cic website now i have heard from some one through this form that writing same job discription as it is mentioned on cic website can create problem for applicant.i want to know ur suggestion about this will this create problem or rejection  for me.some one on this form said me that it will be rejection and some are saying nothing will happen.if there are chances of rejection then please guide me wht should i do.

I've written about it many times...

If ur total package & supporting docs prove that u r actually working in those JDs - u'll be fine. However, if the IO doubts it [on ur qualitative work vis-a-vis the NOC] -- u'd have a problem for sure, writing verbatim the JDs taken from the HRSDC-NOC isn't done.

If u don't have any docs to prove ur experience, how can u claim it?
Ur only way-out is to get the ref letter from that employes. They should have something/some record.

AFAIK, IMHO - the address disappearance has no consequence to our processing.

Pardon me Captain but I don't think Visa office requires documented proof of work experience which is more than 10 years old... It is not going to fetch you points anyway.
