In this forum you are the King and we all are your Kingdom.
Today, when i was forming a list of goods to carry, One question strike into my mind..
Can we carry over the counter medicines such as crocin, wincold, citrizin for the intial purpose..because these would defiantly come handy at the initial stage ..
Please Advise...

Hi Qorax, Happy new year for you and your family and wish the best for you, I have one concern, my husband 2 years back lost his passport and got the new one, actually Im the main applicant, just wondering will be some delay in process, if we reach to PPS stage, for checking the travell record for him? The other query is; after submitting the file Ive received an emaim, through my agency, from CIC canada and mentioned that we sent your application to a visa office, my question is what should I call this letter; PER or AOR? When I will receve the next letter from LVO, or they wont be any more letter till they ask for PCC or MR? Kindly advice me, Thanks a lot, aba2011

Dear Qorax,
Need your help please, I am from NDVO, I submitted my full docs in July 2010 and got my 2nd AOR in the same month. From then on I am trying to check the status of my application on e-cas but I alwayzzzzz get an error, hence so far I was never ever able to check the status of my application online, on the advice of some seniors in an earlier post I sent 2 case specific inquiries to NDVO, after 5-6 months after sending the CS, last month I got a reply from NDVO stating that "your application is not likely to be processed in 2012" without any answer about my e-cas issue, looks like NDVO didnt bother to read the CS query and just sent a standard mail.
What else can I do about the e-cas issue?, everybody else around me can check their status on e-cas except me, what do you think is the issue here? and how do I go about fixing it?
Please see below the error message I get everytime I enter my details on E-cas

1. Over the counter drugs aren't any issue... u can bring them for your personal use [not for commercial]. 2. Other drugs aren't too - just that in this case u need to carry your doctor's prescription & the clinic's invoice.

1. CIO's only correspondance with u'd be a PER [& NER of course, not in your case]. 2. The VO's sometimes do not send another AOR [post-26/6/ cases].

Dear Brother Qorax, thanks for your reply, we all really appreciate you taking out time to help us out with our queries. Going back to my issue, I am not sure which particlulars I would be typing wrong as the E-Cas page looks fairly simple 1st is the Identification Type, where I have selected Immigration File Number/Application Number2nd Field is the Identification Number, where I have entered the number received in my 2nd AOR starting with "B0", tried with the number in 1st AOR as well even that doesnt work 3rd field is Surname/Family name 4th Field is Date of Birth 5th Place of Birth I dont know what mistake I am making here?? or there is an issue with my file number at the VO?

Captain will guide you better. but i would like to suggest you that you should try first with your last name if it did not work, then try with your first name, further more make sure that write the file number in the capital latter GOOD luck with your E-CAS status

Thanks Shaziabibi, I have tried with both my first name and the last name and also I always enter the filenumber in capital letter only. Anything else I should try? but do you think does this have any negative impact on my processing of the file?

I am not expert, but i think it do not having -ve impact on your case. You can contact your VO and tell them that i can not trace my E-CAS status online, hopefully your VO will solve your problem.
