My question is I have sended Complete set of Documents(all Family Doc) with my Recent application (Sep 2010) and also mentioned the reference of Previous application in cover letter

I am concerned, do I  have to send the updated documents for my previous application ( Sep 2006) along with Fee (as My baby  was born in year 2009 ).

Dear shibu,
Application photo specification guide does not mention about glasses.

The PR photo specs on CIC site mensions the following;
"You may wear non-tinted and tinted prescription glasses as long as your eyes are clearly visible. Make sure that your eyes are not hidden by glare on the lenses. Sunglasses are not acceptable."

Better avoid to be on safer side.

mycan

Thanks for your guidance.God bless you +1 4 you

Dear Qorax
I have question how much is the minimum time between visa issuing and medical expiry, suppose Medical is going to be expire in Feb 2012, so at least how much time before that they can issue visa.
thanks and regards

If u desire to maintain both apps - yes u'd have to submit those for the previous one as well.

Hi Qorax,

I have a question regarding the timeframe starting from sending the application to the CIO. I have gathered from reading the posts here that the AOR/PER (or NER) can be expected within about 2 months from the date the CIO receives the application. Is this correct? Also, when does the CIO usually charge the CC? Is it before AOR and what time after the application is received can I expect the charge?

I hope you can help me out. Thank you in advance.

With excuse ,I think it's better to withdraw one .My consultant did it and withdrew my old application by arguing that it's useless to process both applications simultaneously .Anyway I just shared my experience You are the better judge.

It could take 2-4 months to get the PER. And the CC ought to be debited prior to issuing that notification... usually a couple of weeks earlier.

This could be one of these:
1. That's the CIO's DM [we have noticed a few got it like that earlier].
2. Your file got transferred between different CIC offices; and one of those marked their DM > for the other [noticed earlier too].
3. It's a glitch.
4. It is s rejection.

U have no choice but to wait for their formal notification.

Qorax

Sir, If it is a rejection then i should receive back my DD and also i should receive a rejection letter from them via post and email. If i remember this decesion made line is appearing when i got ist AOR. Second thing is that outside status is still "In Process".

Please breif about it as so many other applicants will also be getting knowledge

hi,
many pre june applicants got DM status...however, they never received any rejection letter and later when then contacted their VO by email, they got the reply form VO that DM status was a glitch.
so, i think you should send an enquiry by email (use VO's general enquiry email address) regarding this matter to your VO.
