Dear Qorax,

If we book 1 or 2 week temporary accommodation through internet from our home country before going to Canada, will the below motels charge in advance [through credit card] or they just book & have to pay when we reach there in the hotel?

e.g:- safehomestay, studio6 in toronto.

SafeHomestay -- No [they accept payment on arrival]
All Others -- Yes

we applied end of 2010 VO Berlin NOC 3113. Since April'11 in process, VO asked for PCC, we sent it in June'11, and after that no sign from VO. Can I ask VO about our case? Is our Timeline normal?

hi qorax..Plz help me...plzzzz.
i sent an eamil to CHC ND on 4th Sep and they replied me after 1 month....on 5th oct...

 "Your application has been reviewed by an officer and is pending the final decision. You will be notified once all steps are complete"

Plz can u assist me what does this mean and how long it will take to make final decicion by officer.....I think now background checks are over...

when we sent email to CHC ND if background checks on then they normally say your background checks still going  but in my email they said VO reviewd my file n is pending the final decision... don't you think background checks will ove...

My medical will expire in feb...will CHC ND will take decision before my medical expire??

Firstly awesome work you are doing here and may you get a reward of all the help you have rendered.

Please help me. I didnt really know of this forum till a while ago and learnt the VO can ask for verification of my proof of funds. Well they just wrote me asking me to send bank statements for the past 12 months. After I submitted my documents in Feb 2011, I made a substancial investment and the money left at bank is less than required by VO instructions. I am of course going to liquidate this investment immediately and return the money to the bank account. Please how can I explain this to the visa office? I believe there is a way. I'm a pre June 2010 applicant. I applied June 2010...

Dear Qorax i sent my full documents to London VO in Jan 2011, I sent my masters degree but did not send the bachelors degree. Now I am confused to send it now or wait for them when they ask for it because I have seen emails to applicants where the VO office has said that do not send any supporting documents because the files are in que and not ready for review but on the other hand if I dont send the degree now I might get in trouble for incomplete application, please guide me in this matter. Thank you

sometimes CHC replys "ur b/g check are on " sometimes they will reply tht "waiting for VO decision". this is normal way.

and i am sure thy will take a possitive decision b4 feb and issue visa

i have sent an inquiery to london vo,and reply is as,

your file is undergoing the background checks.

the background checks r of all documents or only for add docs that isent on 9th SEP.included PCC,PDF and my uncle's docs as a proof of residency instead of my brother.first i sent the docs ofmy brother.

or background checks means police clearence and verification of uncle's docs or medical clearence.

can vo issue medical during background checks.

buddy, i stayed there whn i landed.  u can send mail to safehomestay and Mr Thomas or Carol. thy wil take money only once ur there

1- u have to send the full statement till now (same a/c u send b4)
2- u have to show the date u have transfed the amount from this a/c for tht investment.
3 - attach certified copy of tht investment u did .....................simple

I am about to send my application for noc 3131 tom. I ave all my docs ready except tef result, pcc from fbi and pcc from india. Already applied for it but waiting. Also work experience letter is about to reach me in next week. But as application number already plunged to 402, I want to send my application tomorow itself. How could i send rest of my documents to cio? I mean is there any number or particular thing i should mention when i send rest of my docs in two weeks?? Please guide. Thanks to all

thank you very much for your reply sir qorax, DMP told me that in the letter its not mention that they have to send a report its just us, i show them our letter and its ok ..will drop box it today here in Manila thru drpb box..God Bless
