A little help about Visa applications..

How long does it take to answer you if your application for a studying visa has been accepted or not; does any1 knows;
(I have made the application on rome) As i saw it takes 3 weeks if your documents are ok...
But i have gaved them my documents since 24th may and i didnt get an answer any advice guys;
