I want to understand the following story:

I meet my basic 2 years (730) days in Canada obligation  during my first 5 years.
I was physically and morally present in Canada 2 years out of 5 years. And I was out for 3 years.
So, Total 5 years.

Will they count those days towards my Citizenship Application if I live in Canada for another year during next 5 year period and and apply for Citizenship?

So, 730 days during first 5 years + 1 year during next 5 years period and then I can  apply for a Citizenship?

Or...I have again to go through the same merry-go-round and start everything from the scratch: accumulate another 3 (1095) years during next 5 years and forget that I have 730 accumulated days?

And all my 730 days spent in Canada during first 5 years are gone forever and I do not get any bonus for that.

Is there any credit for those 730 days that I stayed in Canada and demonstrated that I am a "good guy"? Will it be counted somehow towards my citizenship? This is what I wanna find out.

Thanks in advance Mike.
