unfortunately, london office is working at the slowest speed. whereas in delhi people are done in 3-4months after submitting documents. have you asked for follow up to london office or not. i guess its a big mistake applying through london office. Either they are too busy or they aren't interested in completing in time. i have seen some people who asked for status update from them they reply 'file is in que for a visa officer for assessment'...may be there are bunches of files waiting and a big backlog will be there.

It is really strange other offices specially ND is working fast whereas London office at turtle speed. No other choice except to keep our fingers cross for positive outcome.
All the best

Mine has been in the in process status for 73 days now. Just hope that when we hear something from them it will be a request for medical, rprf, and PPR all together at one time. Hahaha, positive thinking???

If it is any consolation to some of you, it is not only London office but Buffalo, NY that is very slow too. My advice to newbies who have yet to apply. Send your applications to New Delhi, Manila, or other Asian countries (if you are an Asian). London or Buffalo can take anywhere from 12 months to 24 months.

Yumar, As per my observation, but I can be wrong in this, the quicker you submit the full documents to local visa office, the sooner you will get the medical. It took me 110 days, and I see yours is almost the same. See my timeline below, until this date I dont have the medicals. Others who submitted in the same visa office 45 days after they received AOR from Sydney got their medicals in 45 days from submission of full application.

Maybe it is one of the reason, so we can only guess. For me security cleance will take more time for us. The initial stage they did very fast I got the AOR within week to 10 days time. I was expecting Madical by the end of September now it is mid October.
So many things we have kept hold, waiting for decision.
Let C how long will it take. When things are not in our hand than it is better wait and see.
All the best to you and all LONDON applicants................
Cheers

Usually security check will be done after the medicals. This is what I've learned from other senior forum members. It's the background check that they do before the medicals. Some speculations say that for some applicants, background and security checks are done at the same time and this is one of the reasons for delay of receiving the medicals. It ll depends upon the IO handling your case. If our application is processed in this manner, then we can expect medical, rprf, and PPR at the same time.....Speculating....

Dear Surean:
As per probability of cases reviewin this blog I think you have cleared the marks step, now you can expect a Madical. Normally it will take 30-40days after status shows review completed and in process..............
So keep your finger cross and do not get panic.
All the best.
Cheers

Dear Aspire:
Let see, bacause not much back ground checking. very conisitent work experience. Degrees can verify on line. Only the security check I doubt will take longer time because it involves Pakistan & UAE.
Anyhow just wait and see................... keep posted on up-date of your case.
Thanks........

My ecas status says In Process...but when I clik it, it just says that they received my application on October 16, 2009. It doesn't mention that they have started the actual processing of my application.
Does this mean that they have not indeed started processing???
