Today's it's been exactly 6 months since I completed my medicals. No PPR yet!

Is there anyone out there with similar situation? All VOs are welcome!

I got PPR , 11 months after medicals done. Smiley Just got visa for 15 days.

Dont wait, You will receive PPR/visas before medical expiry for sure.. Just start planning i.e winding up your work, travel arrangements etc etc Smiley

I m a new comer of this forum i just got PPR dated 2 Dec 2011 and i has send send pass port copies to cic in london when they told me to go for step 2 Pls advise

OMG ... that is scary what you are saying ... my timeline so far is:


August 4th, 2011 – application delivered to CIC Sydney NS

October 6th 2011 – processing fee charged to my credit card

November 2nd, 2011 – received first e-mail from Sydney, NS ... application was sent to Warsaw Visa Office

November 24th, 2011 – Acknowledgment letter form Warsaw Visa Office

December 5th, 2011 – Warsaw Visa Office requested additional documents ... sent them next day

December 9th, 2011 – Medical Examination request from Warsaw Visa Office ... Medicals done next day

so now I have to wait 6 - 7 months Huh? OMG

your case seems really fast ... i had to wait ~14 months after sending my docs to VO before I got the med request

Hi sofiajohns12,

If I may ask, what was the interview all about? My understanding is the interviews usually happens during background check prior to MR and not after.

Just curious as I am waiting for PPR as well - 4 months and counting.

interview call after medicals is almost always regarding security checks/clearance, not background checks

i wouldn't be worried a bit if I'm called for a security check interview

has nothing to do with medical results as well, right? My understanding is if you have the line "Medical Results Received", you have cleared the medical stage.

as you are, I wouldn't be worried either.

2 years since last medical request and nothing happened .. Just last month they said : now we are done with security background xD ... Nothing worse than my case :p

hi maghraby,

hope you will not be requested for another medical exam (as validity of such is only 1 year). how do you get the update that they are done with security check? email? how to request for update?
