If they are employed, have them get letters from their employers stating how much time off they are being allowed to take from work to escort their daughter to the US, and when they are expected back at work.

If they are self-employed, show the latest tax returns filed for the business, and the company documents showing their position as owners/shareholders.

If they own house/land, show a copy of the title.

The need to show proof of ALL their ties to Pakistan, not just that they can afford to take her to the US.

You should seek advice from a site dedicated to US immigration issues.  What works for Canada doesn't mean it will work for the US.  Best of luck to your friend and his daughter.

If your friend goes through a clinic such as the Mayo Clinic of Rochester MN they have teams that assist with this visa process. Getting an invitation for medical treatment is just not enough for a visa to the US
