4 months remaining to visa expiration

Hi
I have student visa of 1 year however my degree program is of two years
it will expire on august 2009, i am planing to go to my country in april and will return in may
will the air line guys will create problem when i return to canada as at that i will just have 4 months to visa expiration
many of my friends told me i will have to purchase return ticket from my country once i reached there.
any help will be greatly appreciated

My common-law partner, she went back to Japan in December,2008 for new year. she only has one month Student visa left till 29, Jan. 2009. when she returned back to Canada. she only needed to make sure IO knows, she has enough money and registered program school letter. Airline (JAL) only made sure she had a student visa. Yes, IO had a lot of question asked her. We knows as long as we applied Student visa Extension before expired. We also applied In-land Common-law partner PR application.
