Hi All, Need urgent help.. I'm plannig to apply for CRNE exam in Ontario but I'm hearing conflicting IELTS requirement for applying for CRNE exams in Ontario. some of my freinds say that the I would need 7.5 in listening , 7 in writing and reading, 7.5 in speaking The College of Nurses Ontario (CRNO) website http://www.cno.org/become-a-nurse/new-applicants/international/requirements-for-becoming-a-nurse-in-ontario/requirement-4/language-fluency-testing/ says the below The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5. The minimum scores required to demonstrate reasonable fluency in written English on the IELTS are 6.5 in listening, 6.5 in writing and 6.5 in reading. The IELTS with a minimum score of seven (the IELTS includes an integrated speaking test) Kindly please confirm what is the IELTS requirement to apply for the CRNE exam in Ontario Regards Bindu |

you may add a digit to the CSR like " CSR1 @ CNOMAIL.ORG CSR2 @ CNOMAIL.ORG and so on, this going to reach to diferent oficers.and you have to type the address without spaces.

it is normal I ve recieved the same, since this is the primary assessment(it takes 12 weeks), CNO only cares about your Education that has to meet their requirments. I beleive we will receive other forms for our pervious employer or registration authurities once the basic assessment is over. some individuals has to submitt a BET form later.... |

Hi All,
I sent my Application form to CRNBC on October 7 and I got my confirmation letter from CRNBC on December 16. CRNBC informed me that it would take another 10 weeks for the review completion. Can anyone help me that the confirmation means CRNBC received all my documents (including verification letters and the application fee encashed) ?

I dont think so, IELTS is required for sitting in the CRNE as well as proof of residentship and so on,but if you can submit it now and they accept it would be a smart idea!!!. |

IELTS does hv two years expiry , i would recommand you to chk your ielts Transcript , also keeep in mind that ...once your innitial assesments is being completed CNO will not ask for further IELTS results, hope this will clear your confusion ... |

For the licensing purpose IELTS is valid only for one year this is the fact for the majority of provinces. So, it's better to read official CNO web-site or ask them directly. If the results expire before the end of the evaluation process - the applicant will be asked to take language examination one more time.  |

hi guys!im just curious..how does CNO assess our education? im just bothered because my cousin who previously registered in CNO has to take a bridging program..so she decided not to pursue her cno but transferred in vancouver..but my cousin has only 1 year experience during that time when she applied in CNO.. can CNO assess our length of experience plus our education?so as not to take the bridging program because we already have 3-4 yrs experience?  |
