Hey guys,
I have applied for CNO in May and I am still waiting for the initial assessment. iI know that i have already asked but i need to clarify regarding the limitation /duration time of eligibility to take the exam. Is it 1 year from the time of the assessment? I am a little bit worried since I have applied just now for PR.
Other question...somebody may help/share me with the exam material for CRNE? I will highly appreciate it.

Don't worry, once you have your eligibility from CNO, you are given at least 5 years to complete all the requirements of becoming a Registered Nurse. If you do not become a RN within that time frame, then you have to show evidence of currency of practice again.(currency of practice is based on your experience in the last 5 years). |

Ena, thanks for the answer...I am so relieved now...I thought the assessment and eligibility to write CRNE comes with an expiry date and I would have to accomplish it within a year ( from a possitive assessment letter ). Since I have 10 years of experience and still working, I am not worried about other things:-) Somebody can kindly share with me CRNE exams? |

and anyone who is NURSE from the philippines? Is it okay if ill use the METROBANK for my bankdraft?

CNO requires currency of practice in the last 5 years. Have your forms filled as well as job description and send directly to CNO by your employers in the last 5 years. Regarding your payment, it should be payable to CNO and it would be in Toronto.
If you need more clarification, just post it and I'll try to answer as quick as possible.

Hi olga. Applied Feb2011 received apllication form after 2weeks, then i sent my money march, received full package april, sent it back with all requirements. May2011 received exam letter. I am in Bahrain.
hi gcctocanada, I have some questions, I hope u can take sometime to answer me. I landed last july 2010. I processed my cno application with my PR but did not send payment until 2 months after I arrived because of so many doubts, my family may not be approved. I contacted CNo to ask if I need to pay the old amount or the updated one. I told CNO that I rcvd old forms so they allowed me to pay the old fee which is $175+++ only but the disadvantage was I have to send some more information and documents which lacking from the new info they ask having the new forms..I was able to comply with all these requirements june 2011 because it took me sometime to request all those documents from back home. I call CNO from time to time to inquire about the status and all they tell me is that I have completed all documents and that they will not be asking for anything else except that I just have to wait for the result... I feel that the assessment is forever. I got a job as a clinic receptionist but within me I still want to work my profession and the waiting makes me crazy.. Any idea on how long more do I have to wait? Sorry..kind of long but I hope for your answer.. |
