hi friends! can't we join directly to university for bridging program? or couldn't we say to CNO for any bridge program. i am without nursing practice more than five years and would like to join bridge or refresh program. highly appreciate to any information.
Universities will ask for the "letter of direction" which is being provided by CNO after full assessment of your documents.

You're most welcome Lika.. Please take note of the expiration date of your visa while waiting for CNO's result. It may take longer than the validity of your visa. Just keep track. You can drop me a note when you're in Toronto already. Goodluck!!!

Thank you so much ena. I received a reply from CNO today. They have acknowledged the receipt of my application form with payment, verification of nursing education and English fluency results (IELTS). They have also given me the application number. The mail says it will take upto 12 weeks for the initial assessment. Further the mail says that I can contact them for further questions. This is nice news for me. My PR expires only on May 6th 2012. So I think I can expect my second set of forms (B4 forms) from CNO atleast by end of December. Will surely let you know when I land. Thank you for your support. And thank you all.

I hate to bring down your expectations guys but my wife's application received by CIC July 20 2011 has been returned due to capped reached....i emailed them Oct 20 and just got their reply today.... Im very disappointed!!! Any other July applicants got same response?
My application reached them on August 11, but has same outcome like your wife. very darn frustrating, isn't and I don't understanding what's their point of updating an increment of 10 complete application at weekly basis??

I hope anyone could tell me how could this happen. I submit my application and reach the CIO on the 11th August. On the 27th October, I received an email, that my application will be returned because cap for NOC 3152 has reached 500!!
How can it possible when I have been montoring weekly that they update about an increment of 10 on their website?! On the day they receive my document, it was less than 130 of completed document received by them, according to the website. From the time they open their door for NOC 3152 and time when they receive my application, was only 41 days. How can it reached 500 in such a short period of time??!!
I am so sadden by this matter....anyone out there who apply for NOC 3152 also experience the same thing??

Hi jhong, Its sad to hear that cap was reached earlier than the update on the CIC website..it is said to have reached on the 20th of July.. Just try to apply again next year in case it is included on the occupation list..
