Hello comrades, I have a question for you.
I have applied for PR under Quebec Selected Skilled Workers category. I mailed my application to Buffalo
about a month ago, on February 15th it arrived in Fort Erie and the delievery was confirmed(signed) by "canadian consulate".
I supposed to get priority treatment, because my profession is in high demand in Quebec(at least that what Quebec officials told me).
Anyways, I was waiting for AOR and instructions on how to undergo medical examinations, but one month passed and there is still no letter.
Yesterday I emailed them, asking about my case, the reply embarrassed me:

""The creation of permanent resident applications in our database along with the mailing of the acknowledgement of receipt letter is taking a minimum of 30 weeks.""

30 weeks??? Shocked I hope they confused weeks with days...(hope not with years lol)

So, comrades what's your experience? How long did you wait for your AOR? Did you wait for 30(!!! Huh) weeks?

Well I suspect most applicants here are in the Federal Skilled Worker category and can't really comment on Quebec Selected Skilled Workers - so you may have to have a little patience until someone who is in the same process as you can give you some timescales.

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

I'm a bit confused. You applied to Quebec, correct? So you need to get your CSQ first.   Or have you already done that?

I have CSQ. I've sent it along with my federal application.(after you get CSQ you have to apply for federal) I just want to know when I'll get my aor. How long does it usually take?

but I think the timescale for all Buffalo applicants is almost the same.(at least I dont know anyone who needed 30 weeks to get AOR.)

I'm still at the CSQ stage, so I'm not sure.  But try asking on this topic:
