where as 5 yrs bachelor degree is higher education level then a 3 years diploma course then why 3 years diploma getting 22 points and 5 years bachelor degree is getting 20 points ? Please anybody describe...

They have designed system according to their needs not according to our qualifications. It means clearly that they prefer blue collar skilled persons and we know this from job market in canada 90% of educated immigrants are doing blue collar jobs.

2 yrs diploma

i have calculated 22 am i right?

2 yrs diploma - 0 if it is at same level of bachelor. You need 3 yr. diploma to get 2 points.

Two or more university degrees at the Bachelor's level AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study     22
 A three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study     22


i have calculated 22 am i right?

hi

if it is 20 points than i will be in trouble i will be short of 2 points.

but actually my diploma is not at bachelors level.

after completing graduation of 3 yrs bachelor in computer application i have joined masters of computer application of 3 yrs course. Now in this course after completing 1st year of studies university awarded me deegree of Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications. After completing 2nd year they have awarded me degree of Advance Diploma in Computer Application. Now due to certain reasons i was unable to complete my 3rd year.(if i did it they i will have masters)

please advice as my lawer told me 22 points

 @  magar, I m sorry to say but you will get 20 points only. If you have two qualifications at bachelor level, you may score 22 points. But you have PG diploma, which I think wont be able to get 22 points for you.... Seniors may correct if I m wrong...

Dear magar,

I think u might get only 20. U should retake IELTS to get full 16 points & thus u can secure 67 points
