Hi all just wondering if anyone can help i am canadian living abroad i know that i also am not covered for the first 3 months when i arrive in canada just wondering if i have to show private health insurance at customs or can i get insurance when im in toronto or if anyone knows of private health insurance company i thank you again for your response

No, you don't need to show proof of private coverage. If you want to get some, try looking at some of the plans for tourists or newcomers to Canada. You can find some here: http://www.settlement.org/sys/faqs_detail.asp?faq_id=4001254 I've also heard that CAA has a good plan.
