Hello Seniors
Please I would like you to clarify something to me.When I received my 2nd AOR in August , 2010 it was written that "please find enclosed a receipt of the fees paid" and when I sent an enquiry to my visa office telling them that nothing was enclosed with that email; whereas I sent the cheque of 490 canadian dollars with the full application(RPRF), their response was that this phrase was written by mistake and they are sorry for the inconvenience. So is that normal not to cash the cheque until now???

Hi KITTI, I assume you sent them Money Order, so all MOs/Drafts/Cheques are valid within 6 months from the date of issue, so that means you have to reissue them MO of the amount of $490.00. If it was MO you had sent to them you need to go to your bank, where you purchased it with the receipt (hope you have kept it for your records). Bank will give you replacement item (as they will cancel previous one) so you can send them again. Chami |

A warm welcome vivcon, You, me , micham we all r in the same boat sailing towards that light which is still far. Consultant cant give you any proper information other than some huge backlog stories. Stay calm for some more while, hopefully by august 2011 we all auguster's should get medical request which i deeply hope so. AOR = ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT which means london they have received all your documents and started sleeping on that. tak care. |

Just a few more days and Augusters all over the world will joyfully celebrate their First Anniversary of 2nd AOR. Hopefully none of us has to celebrate our Second Anniversary in this forum.  (mine is still RBVO though)  |
