Dear Sir, Madam

Thank you for your recent CAIPS request through CAIPS FileCheck.  We received your file from CIC today and I enclose a copy for you in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format.

Unfortunately, as of the date of printing, your file was still awaiting the first stage of processing (paper screening) and thus is largely blank.  However, the official 'bring forward' date on the file was 13th April 2011 so it is possible processing has now begun (bring forward dates are not 100% reliable so we cannot be sure).

As your file is largely blank, there is nothing in it for us to interpret for you at this time.  In this situation, I always offer to obtain the file again at a later date as part of the service that you have already paid for.  Would you like me to send the new request immediately to see if CIC have started to process your file, or would you prefer to wait until you hear from CIC?  I am happy either way.

Your visa officer code is PPS, you may find this code in AOR near by barcode the date 13-04-11 was your bf'd on that day your file supposed to be looked in by your visa officer i would suggest it would be too early to apply for another caips notes with in two months .. idealy you should wait for another 3 months ...

Guys Sorry to innterrept but i would suggest you guys to be breif as much as you can all they need is your file no, name , date of birth, nationality  if you sending by email ( web.link ask you all this by defult) ... so dont forget to mention this all they already know your doc reciving dates AOR date and so on .... just ask straight away updates on your file the more longer your mail will be they will take more time to reply you all ... hope you wont mind  for jumping me over your conversation .....

I think our IELTS results (taken 2010) is valid for 1 year only... am I right?
 

Kulasa ...I think u r right.. it shud be valid for ONE year I guess... but there is no response from other people who have 2nd AOR in August from London.......
if someone cud share it wud be of help......
going thru the other threads of 2nd AOR in different CHC's like Accra , Sydney, Buffalo....  most of the friends have given similar posts that there is a delay or some sort like that...........

IELTS scores confirmation is the first thing that CIC does after it recieves our full docs, so once they are verified only, no need to worry even if its validity expires, moreover for the post June applicants, the validity for the same has been increased to 2 years.

Sudden turn of events....
My status has changed to IN PROCESS from " Received By Visa Office " ..........
at least this change makes me happy.....

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. 

 

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.     

 

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.  Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Well, if this reply is genuine (because normally the VO don't share numbers) if it is then it will apply to all, not to any specific VO.
