I am also interested in how your timeline(s) is going.

I just received that 2nd AOR email today  Cheesy
I sent in my full application mid-to-late October...  but my police clearance from the FBI wasn't included then, as I had problems with the fingerprints I sent the FBI.  I had to send a note saying I would forward it immediately upon retrieval, to which I sent that in mid-to-late December.

I'm thinking about emailing the Buffalo office to ask if they received the police clearance sent in December, as the reference number I placed on the envelope was the number given to me by the CIO, and not the one in the 2nd AOR email.  What do you guys think?

That's my timeline:
Full documents to Buffalo sent on August 27th 2010
Buffalo received my documents on August 31st 2010
On December 15th my ECAS changed into Received by visa office
But no email from them....what should I do? Embarrassed

Dear Elias1979

As far as I understand, the Received  By Visa Office (RBVO) Status is the 2nd AOR which is the stage before In Process.

Let's hear from the pros...

You may want to send an e-mail to your VO.

Regards

No need to over react. I believe they are reviewing your documents if are completed. If so, they will put your case IN PROCESS which is going to happen SOON no later than next month.  But... Buffalo VO is one of the Slowest on EARTH.

I do not understand why is that so diffident case by case. There are some people who had gotten their AORs in couple months. Butsome of us have to wait almost 8 months.

The ugliest part of this is that we cannot do much about it.

I am expecting MR and it migh take a good 3-4 months more easily.

Good luck t0 all.
