2nd aor from BUFFALO what's next

Hi!!, To all

I am new in this form but just want to tell all that i got my 2nd aor from buffalo office on DEC 17th can some one tell me what will be the next step my online status says application received how long it can take for the next step and what are the chances of rejection, well my NOC 0213

Application to CANADA April 2nd
1st AOR on june 9th
Documents mailed on SEP 19th to BUFFALO
2nd AOR DEc 17th

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received at the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo, New York and that a file has been created for you. Your file number appears above. Please note that this file number is different from the one that was assigned to you by the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this new file number in any future correspondence.
 
 Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

so when should i expect medical or any next step

Congrats for second AOR and wish your file already "in-Process".

look on your e-case status:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

E-case will update your status step by step. Medical will takes time may be 3months, within "In-Process" status if any documents required by your local visa office then they will contact you by email or mail. if everything is good and all documents everything perfect then local visa office will directly send you Medical request.

I just got update In-process , so I guess next update will sure up to march 2011.

Hi anuj_623,
Congrats for your second AOR. Me too received my second AOR on DEC 21st. It may take approx 3 more months to get medical request. As you know, 2nd AOR is nothing but the acknowledgement that the buffalo office received our full docs. Hereafter only, they'll start analyzing our docs. So if they are not satisfied with our docs, they may reject or in some cases,they may ask for few more docs. We cant predict the chance for approval or rejection. Lets Hope for the best. I ll pray, soon we'll get our medical request.

thank's suja2010 same to you but does 2nd AOR means that we have met 67 points hurdel or still they will make an decision that you dont have enough to go further or does in process means that our file is in good shape  and after 2nd aor do they send medical in 3to ++ months is that true i have heard that it takes atleast 7 to 8 mts.

No, 2nd AOR not means that you met 67 points awarded, Visa office review will completed and when your e-case is in-process then that means 67points awarded or you met elligibility of the FSW. medical and process on file is depend on visa office, but 3months is mostly minimum time after your case is in-process for ND india or Buffallo ny office/..

Himanshu2277 , I will take your words. On november 23 2010, my case went into In-Process so ONE WOULD SAY THAT AT THE END OF NEXT MONTH, I MIGHT GET MEDICAL REQUEST THEN.

I don't understand. I sent my full documents to Buffalo at the end of August 2010. On December 15th my ECAS changed in Received by Visa Office (with the number from Nova Scotia). Probably I should have  received the second AOR by now, right? I am worried. I don't know what are the steps...first we receive the email with the AOR and after that the ECAS status changes into RBVO or first the status changes and after that we receive the email? I would appreciate your opinion regarding this issue.
I want to say that I check my email address daily even the spam folder and there isn't the possibility to have deleted the email or something like that.
Shall I send them a message?

I just received that 2nd AOR email today  
I sent in my full application mid-to-late October...  but my police clearance from the FBI wasn't included then, as I had problems with the fingerprints I sent the FBI.  I had to send a note saying I would forward it immediately upon retrieval, to which I sent that in mid-to-late December.

I'm thinking about emailing the Buffalo office to ask if they received the police clearance sent in December, as the reference number I placed on the envelope was the number given to me by the CIO, and not the one in the 2nd AOR email.  What do you guys think?
