then we hv same case. infect very same as our file no. has not changed in 2nd AOR.

i was only confused about is tht letter only is 2nd AOR or thr will something else will come.

And as far as file. no is concern, thr s no worry, one friend of mine has said tht now thy r doing that in some cases. they dont change file no. and it s very ok.

Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether
or not you are eligible for processing. lf your applic-Jtion is not eligible for processing, you will
receive a letter inforrning you of ihe reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

Processing time
Appiications for permanent residence in Canada in the category you have applied to requires an average of 10 months to process at the office.
If you have not revcevived any instructions from the office 6 months after you submitted your full application you are requested to contact this office directly.

Interview
you will be notified of the appointment for your interview.

Yes, it is 2nd AOR. So just relax and wait for next stage.

Jaydeep, the scanned copy mentioned with canadian government and consulate general with canadian flag symbol on top left and below that FILE # then here is again small kind of image of flag, citizenship and immigration Canada then  "B" series number with barcode kind , thats your 2nd AOR.

this letter also have some text : the next step, interviews dependants , Change in personal information, note.
so, I hope you got the same letter and best luck for furthur process.

ok noworries, but the letter format is what I explained is the same? or whats the letter format? it's not should be CIO one, it should be what I describe above than dont worry about number.

its not looks what we get even ND applicants my friends get from Gujarat, but dontworry its looks like second AOR letter, does it have any barcode? or does it have any logo of canada flag and consulate one?
generally this kind of letter not issued to all applicant for 2nd AOR this si the looks like old systems letter.
my uncle in 1990's get same letter printed using dot.matrix printer.
anyway its similar looks 2nd AOR , you can generate the CAIPS note, it will describe everything even your latest file number and progress too.
