Hi.

I looking at getting a working visa and get to Canada for hopefully feb/march. Just a question really for when I can apply for the visa? I'm not sure about this kind of stuff and don't want the visa to expire before I even use it.

*From the UK by the way*

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

You need to find an employer first.........

Assuming that the OP is apply for an open work permit under the IEC, s/he doesn't require an employer.  The Letter of Introduction is supposed valid for admission for 1 year, BUT there have been a couple of people on other forums who haven't got the full year.  Since it takes about 2 months to process an IEC, Nov/Dec should be fine,  That is if there are any left for this year.  You may have to wait until January/12 to apply.
