Hey guys,
In my AIP letter, I was requested to submit original set of fingerprints to cic office ASAP. I wish they could add that to the document check list. I had my finger prints electronically taken at commissionaires and they gave me a paper that has my prints too. I really don't think this is the original set of finger prints cic asked me to submit. The agent at commissionaires told me that the prints are electronically sent to RCMP who then send me something in the mail; this I assumed is what I will send to Vegreville once I get it, but when I called cic, they said, I don't need to wait for anything from RCMP, I should just send the paper from from commissionaires with my finger prints to them. I am so confused. Any help will be really appreciated.

Really frustrated,,,called CIC, yesterday and today and I'm more confused than before. Please anyone who has had to do electronic fingerprints, share your experience. Thanks!

Received my fingerprints / criminal / refugee check letter from RCMP in the mail on Monday, and sent them right away to Vegreville. I did the digital prints from commissionaires last week. Just crossing my fingers now. I don't suppose most of you have had to deal with this, hey?

Oh ya? Hmmm! Sucks that they didn't give it to you right away too, huh? Did, you send you get your fingerprint letter in the mail from RCMP, then send to Vegreville or did you let them do it themselves? If the former, did the letter you got have your picture in it? If the latter, did cic confirm they received it?

I let them do it themselves and CIC confirmed by e-mail they received them.

Hopefully the wait will be over soon.
