Question (b) evidence provided by your sponsor of intent to reside in Canada is not satisfactory. please provide additional evidence of your sponsor's intent to return & reside in Canada which is not depended on his connection with his family such as the evidence provided that he will live with family and work at his father company.

What if i leave and send the air ticket for proof that i have left the country, or can i book my ticket two months ahead and give the a copy of that. so they will know that I'm ready to leave.

Gayan so sorry about the news.. The reason my husband and I did things the way we did was to avoid this as we were warned ahead of time...

They want to make sure you will return to Canada most importantly and that is why there is pressure for most of us sponsors to remain in Canada. Maybe if your dad can get an official document of some sort with your name on it from his company that would help?

I really don't know what else to say honestly..

Something else to note is that they want to know of your ties to Canada. So any bank accounts that you have maintained in the past year with deposits, GICs etc can all be shown as proof. That is what they need. They are looking for FINANCIAL ties to you and Canada..

BTW how long have you been out of Canada?

I've been out of the country for 5 years. so what if i leave now would that help. that should be proof don't you think. the other thing is what ti said on the applications was that as soon as my wife receives her PR i will be leaving the country. I did apply using outbound application i think that's why this question has come up.

Dude that is a very long time.. You should probably get some professional advice if possible. and not from someone in sri lanka..

This is what the immigration office said in the email they sent me.

Please note that bank account details would not be satisfactory  and an airline ticket by itself is not sufficient.  It has to be solid proof that you intend  to return and reside in  Canada  when the principal applicant becomes a permanent resident.   We cannot provide a list of documents  that would comprise proof of intent to reside in Canada. That is up to you. However, the evidence provided must be strong enough to satisfy  the officer that you plan on residing in Canada at the time your spouse becomes a permanent resident.  If the evidence you provide does not satisfy the officer that you plan on residing in Canada when the principal applicant becomes a permanent resident, then the application may be refused.

i got a letter from my dad saying that my wife and i will be staying with them and i will be working for him. and he signed it and scanned his citizenship card and attached to it as well.

i cant get a job offer on this because know one is going to issue a job offer without me being present.

Please seek professional advice Gayan. My husband and I put ourselves in a very tough position when we decided that I need to be here in Toronto for this process. We wanted to make sure that they knew that we had a home here and I am glad we did considering what CIC is putting u through.

Either ask the senior members for help or please seek professional help. I know someone that might be able too and she lives here in Toronto. She can advice you on what you should do. PM me if you would like her info.

How childish!! Its only a game. We need to be happy that the cup stays in south asia at least... Regardless of what happens at the finals, i'm still going to be happy Sri Lanka did amazingly well!! So proud of our team
