good to hear that london office is speeding up now.my ecas status ..IN PROCESS.. is from 28 aug 2009.In new delhi office within 5 -10 days of ur status changes to in process they r sending the medical request hope this is happening in london office also.
I am changing the mailing address in 2-3 days time and if they have send the medical request then it will be a problem for me.so i will mail them after changing mailing address.
just want to know r they sending e-mail also for medical request?POWER<BIRD TO CANADA...pls reply...

Why change your mailing address now? I think its a pretty big risk to take dont you think? They dont notify everyone by email, I should know because Ive never received a single email from London myself.

congrates for having ecas   IN PROCESS. Big hurdle is over.Actually I have give some relatives mailing address but they r shifting now to india.Ya Its a risk but I do not have any option now do I?
After changing address I will mail cic london the new address and will also ask them whether they have send any mail to me.Usually london office reply to e-mails it is my experience.
What abt ur credential work?Any progress?I have shifted my exam date of CAOT on  july 2010.And started studiing also.

to anyone who just filed their initial application to CIO...note that they are rejecting the whole application if you accidentally put Sydney Nova Scotia in the VISA OFFICE REQUESTED for the process of your application...(IMM 0008)

my friend just received her rejection letter after 60 days saying that

"You did not indicate the visa office requested for the process of your application. Please note Sydney CIO is not a valid selection"

I am just blessed that my application proceeded when i submitted it last May though it contains "Sydney Nova Scotia" in the visa office requested tab..

i told my friend to resubmit everything again to CIO and just change that tab to "Manila, Philippines"

Generally speaking the general background is done before the medical and the security check after the medical. After the medical you will hopefully you will receive PPR after 1.5 to 2 months.

My noc is also 3143.I am in kuwait and from India.Have u applied to CAOT?If yes have u got the eligibilty letter and have u included that in ur full application?
I have send my caot eligibility letter with my full application.
Usually background check is done before medical and security check after medical but I have seen in this forum that background check last uptil ppr request.After they recieve medical they usually send the passport request in a months time.
U r from which country and where r u working?

Hi guys,
I sent C.I.C. London an email to enquire about when I would receive a request for medicals.
The reply from London was that  "your file is awaiting review by an immigration officer".

My online status is IN PROCESS

We received your application for permanent residence on February 23, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 4, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on March 10, 2009. The London England office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 26, 2009.


According to my online status the file was reviewed. Yet C.IC. Londons email to me says it is awaiting review.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

 @ gerrybyrne....with the email you received from London Office...we can say that "IN PROCESS" status eventhough it mentioned in the ECAS that it is already reviewed and started processing is still "UNDER REVIEW"....

so we just need to wait until they finished the review and we received the medical request....
