Hello CPA2CANADA. Thanks for your kind words. The 1st page of the letter has steps 1, 2 and 3.
Step 1 is R.P.R.F. within 45 days.
Step 2 is Medical Request within 45 days. There is a paragraph in step 2 that says if all steps are followed correctly P.R. visas should be issued within 30 - 45 days after the date medical exam is done.
Step 3 is Request to submit Passports and updated Photos. Again there is a paragraph to submit passports and photos 30 days after the date medical exam is done.
gerrybyrne...thanks for your prompt reply..... congratulations again....strange that the date is October 11.....so based on your experience....London CHC has a new way of sending the reply....only one letter with 3 steps.... hope we got the PPR...soon.... Godbless

Thats just the first page. The letter is 6 pages in total, 4 of which are instructions and the other 2 are the medical reports for my Wife and myself to bring to the doctor. The date on the letter is hand written oct /11/09 ( it arrived today oct 9 ). I presume they pre dated it in case of any delay with the postal strike in the U.K. It was posted on the 5th according to the envelope stamp.

Dear Aspire and other Folks here
Just something come in my mind that may be make the processing time for the applicant shorter or longer (priority), which is the City or the Provinance you intended to live in that we already lived in. I presume that they (CIC)consider Toronto as the lowest priority, as I filled Toronto and still waiting from 5 months while others during 2 months they receievd medical request. Anyway these are my thoughts and could be wrong.
Dear folks you are more than welcome to correct me or add any valuable comments.
Zaid, I am also entertaining such thoughts Zaid, We also have written Toronto, but lately we decided to settle in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am even planning to send them e mail and inform them about this change. With such, then I think we should start asking people to include informing fellow forum members the intended province they have written in the application form where they planned to settle. It makes sense to me. The 38 list came out after series of consultations from all Canadian Provinces, each of the province has its own labor market shortage list, example is the water sprinkler system installer definitely is the demand from agriculture producing province like manitoba, and this skill is nowhere needed in Toronto. The same with petrochemical engnieers, this must be the demand of Alberta where oil refinery plants are mostly located. My point if you are a water sprinkler system installer and you put Toronto as the city of destination in your application, then your chances to settle economically well in Ontario is lesss and it will not serve the very purpose of the revisions that they made with the immigration procedures (38 list). Can i start with CPA2CANADA? What was the intended place you have written in your applicatin where you planned to settle?

Hi,
I recd the request for Medicals on 10.10.09 to be submitted by 18.11.09. Landing fees and passport photos submitted by end of Aug'09.
My ecas status as under:Case filed with London office under NOC category.
Permanent Residence We received your application for permanent residence on March 16, 2009. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 28, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. We transferred your application to the London England office on April 1, 2009. The London England office may contact you. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on August 11, 2009.
My question is: 1.Along with medicals they have asked for PCC from Tanzania where I had stayed.I had at the time of submission of full docs with the visa office, filed the proof of having submitted the necessary docs for obtaining the PCC,along with finger prints etc.But I am yet to get the same. They hv told me to submit the PCC also along with the Medicals by the 18th of Nov'09. What will happen if I m unable to get the same within the deadline. Will my application after going thro all these processes get rejected at the fag end or will they delay the stamping of the visa. Pls,if somebody, who has gone thro this process, may share their experience.
Thanks

penpal,
Congratulations for receiving the medical.
What was the validity of your Tanzania PCC that you submitted together with your full application? Maybe it is already expired and CIC wants an updated certificate?
Is it no longer possible to secure new one?
If it is possible but you believe you can't beat the deadline set, I suggest do your medicals and send CIC a letter to tell them that your Tanzania PCC will follow and an explanation if in case it can't beat the deadline set. Asking them as well the reason why for the second time they've asked for it, I think will not be of harm.
