hi all,
I have recieved rprf+medical request today.The letter is dated 22 sep 2009.
hope the medical goes well for me and my family.Planning to do it in end of october.
All the best to all.
Regards
pammi

I got your time line in your previous post in this same thread. And again your case gives me the conclusion that the quicker you submit the full documents after receiving the "submit documents letter"(2nd AOR), the faster you can receive the medical request.

Congratulations! Answered prayers!!

Hi!

Please share the complete detail of your time line just like the one at the bottom of my message, may be I can give you an estimate of when you will receive the medicals. If it did happen that you were asked to submit additional documents after submitting full application please mention it as well together with the date. I think I got the pattern..

Hi Pammy,

Pls see the below.

Hi,

I recd the request for additional docs namely Landing fees and passport photos on aug'11,09.I submitted them in the last week of aug'09.

My ecas status as under:
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on March 16, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 28, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on April 1, 2009. The London England office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on August 11, 2009.

My question is:
1.Does this mean no more docs from my side.
2.Normally Medical request and landing fee request is made at the same time. But in my case i m still waiting for the medicals.Does anybody know about this.Any expereince, pls share.
3.How much time will it take for the medicals from now onwards.

Visa office – London Under NOC category.

Thanks

The day they asked you about additional documents was the day they put your e cas to "in Process". Bring forward date is 2-3 months from the receipt of the additional documents thay they had requested. BFD means a schedule set when the IO will next open your file. If I may guess it, you will expect your medicals 2-3 months from the last week of August. To be precise you can order CAIPS to see the Bring Forward Date. This is the delay it can cause when after the submission of full documents they will find something is lacking and they will demand it from you.

These are just my observations based on what I have learned thru talking to senior members of this forum..Pls note that I am not an expert, just my 2 cents...

Thanks aspire,

Effectively that means end of nov'09 i may receive my medicals.Does this mean that due to additional docs my case is getting delayed. But on the other hand effectively these are not addl docs as such, since what they requested from me is the RPRF fees and photos.

hi again,
now the trend what i notised is if u submit documents earlier they process earlier. Also they have given us only 45 days to submit rprf and medical starting from 22 sep wheareas in cap2canada,sj2009 case they have given 60 days.so little confused also.
lets see but i think aspire and penpel will get medical request in end of oct positively.
in penpal case they have asked passport photo  which is confusing.may be they have lost it.but again they have asked for rprf means case is positive but delaying.
penpel,my noc is 3143 and I have said this again and again that they are choosing certain noc also in fast processing. noc 1111,0111,3143,3142,3152.3153 are comparatively faster.noc 0213 is delaying in every visa office and according to sepeculations and reumours they can change it.

medicals - within 60 days from the date of the letter
RPRF - within 90 days from the date of the letter

Penpal...i think you have an unusual case...usually medicals come with that.....once they asked for the RPRF then that means your application is ok.....hmmmm.....dont know the reason behind....

cap2canada,
ya it is little confusing.I also want to add one thing. My profession wants licencing in canada and I have started this process back in december after filing my immigration application.so I got the credential done and a letter from them that my  degree is equievelent  to canadian degree.my licencing exam was due on 7 nov 2009 which i have posponed in july 2010.but without giving this exam i can get provisional practice licencing for 6 months.I have added the letter from my canadian board to my full application and I strongly feel that this speed up the process.

Yah you're right RPRF should not be considered as an additional document. As what CPA2CANADA said you have unusual case since RPRF usually is asked together with the medicals. Why did they ask you for the photos, didnt you send it with your full application?
