2009 FSW Applicants - Cairo / Egypt Visa Office

For those applying in 2009 under FSW category from Cairo / Egypt visa office,

let's share our timeline and experience,


do anyone know if they accept police certificate older than 3 months ? I'm talking about police certificates from other countries other than Egypt,

From what I understand no, they only accept Police clearance less than 3 months old.
masem are you in egypt or gulf?

I'm in the gulf but applying under Egypt office,

what about u ?

I'm in Egypt and hopefully will be sending initial application to CIO by the end of the week. wish me luck filling the application turned out to be harder than i thought LOL

Applied Under Quebec, and here is my Timelines so far..
Initial Assessment: July. '07
CSQ Interview: Dec. '08, and got the CSQ
Filed and In-Process in Cairo, Egypt: March '09
Currently waiting for Medicals and PPR which it seems taking heaps of time than I expected :s.. but as far as I heard from Some people Experiences, it takes around 6~10 Months to Receive them, keeping my fingers crossed really..
