Yes, I have cleared the IELTS as well on 07/11/2009. (was bored of waiting and thought, OK, don't leave it to the mercy of an IO, just go and do it).Thought, I'd better just do it and be double sure. (LOL) Grin Tongue

Again, like I said in one of my earlier posts, I don't want to blow my trumpet, Man!! So please don't ask me what Band I got. Kiss
All I did was register for it ( As I did not have anything to loose anyway - needed only 6 points),  took a look at what is expected on their IELTS Website, http://www.ielts.org/test_takers_information/what_is_ielts.aspx, i.e Test format and in I went on the Saturday.
Job done. Honestly, it's not a big deal for anybody who lives, work and has studied in an English speaking country.

Moon99,
Have you applied to the Islamabad Office?
If yes,  Hmm, from Trackit.com, it seems that the Islamabad Office is still busy with 2004 Applicants.
(No docs update yet for 2005 to 2007). Doesn't look that good, Man!!!
And , if it is the London Office, then from trackit.com, it looks like it will be late (around) November 2010 for documents update.
Like PMM said in his last post to my question, Sept2006 to Nov2006 were requested for docs update in Nov2009 and almost all these (2006 upwards) cases are still pending review.
Taking into consideration that they require, 120/90 days after that for docs update + Medicals (90days)+PPR and then Visa issuance another (90 days) = ca. another 9 to 10Months, and then, provided all goes well, one is looking at landing in another 2 years from January 2010.

Hey 2007 CHC islamabad applicants...we should all write an email to the immigration minister jason kenny as his email is given on the cic website and they welcome any suggestions pouring in...we should suggest kindly that the fast track should be put on hold in the year 2010 and first they should clear the pending backlog in the coming year and a half as this is unfair to the people who have been waiting for so many years...this is a matter of being fair....hope the new year brings good news to all of us waiting patiently....take care

Dear Toatymalik , good suggestion , I already has written an e-mail two months back to Jason Kenny regarding this matter and mention that this is unjustice with the old applicants and also suggested that u can charge 1000 to 1500 Cad $ to clear this pending cases  of old applicants and hire more people to speed up the cases of only old applicants, no response as yet
