By the way guys, I noticed something I honestly didn't know before, in the AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) letter, CHC has mentioned to many poeple how much is expected for them to wait (example: 36 to 42 months), in mine its not mentioned.

What do you have on your AOR letter? (The one you received back in 2005? RIWA, ALI_GHG, Shima?)
and Hassan for your application i think it's differrent because the supposed waiting time for new applicants is 12 to 18 months, but is there anything mentioned about expectd waiting time?

Thanks

Youskal,

For my application , i recieved only 1 AOR from FIO in Novascotia, canada which requests sending all supporting docs within 120 days, it didn't indicate any expected time though!! AS per the new rules, the Entire process should take 6-12 months fro mthe time I submit my supporting docs to CHC Damscus.

if you are talking about 2nd AOR form CHC damscus, i Still didn't recieve it, i've been informed that CHC doesn't always send 2nd AOR.In some cases they are requesting medicals and doing updates to your current AOR (i.e the first one).

Hope it will be applicable to my case too Smiley Smiley

Hi Youskal,
Actually I don't remember that I received an aknowledgment letter. I just received a letter from my representative in which he attached the receipt of the fees paid for each application to my family members and even now, I mean, after submitting the update of my documents, I also haven't received anything. I just check my application status which shows(In Process) and a note of the time they started processing my file and when they transferred it to Warsaw. Actually, I can see many new terms for me on this forum like CAIPS, PRFP???!!! I don't know. I told you before, my represetative is uselesssss!!!

Hi Riwa,

I can see what you mean.

BTW PRFP is the permanent resident fee, after you are accepted, you must pay this fee to get your Visa Stamped.
and CAIPS is the software CHC use to manage the immigration applications, by ordering your CAIPS report, you get to know the exact history, current and particular next steps your application is going through.

Hi Ka3far,

Well QSW are usually fast, and you should have been in canada by now, but with the number of applicants that increased in the past five years, this is what's happening, however, you are on the final stage, you can send them a specific-case-inquiry since you already sent your medicals, my guess is that they will reply by confirming that they received the medicals and they will either tell you to send your passport or that they are doing additional background/security checks.

Good Luck

hi all ..  thanks youskal and hasan09 for your response..
Youska,l i did send them a specific case inquiry on 21 feb but with no response untill now..
Hassan i did my medicals in American University Hospital, the doctor check-up on you and your family members by measuring your hight, weight, blood pressure and your testicles!!! and dont know why !!then you will undergo a blood and urine test. Finally, you go 2 floors underground to make the chest xray .. in my case (QSW) they sent them to paris !! dont know where exactly but i have read that some doctors related to quebec in paris evaluate the medicals there !

lo0o0o0o0ol cencored guys we have a lady in the thread.

Thanks Ka3far for the info.

I have a question to our friend ALI_GHG, Ali what is mentioned in your Welcome letter (AOR Letter, the one you received in 2006 when you applied) regarding expected waiting time? I heard some AOR contain expected waiting time (ex; 36 to 42 months), mine didn't mention anything. Please advise. Ka3far if you can also advise.

Thanks.

Hi Youskal,
I'm from Iran. About the notification letter I didn't receive it for months, then I asked about it via E-mail, and they sent me a letter which even my file number was not on that !!!!.
It was just a template which stated we received your application. That is your file number (which was blank for me). Yet I do have my file number because when I handed down my forms and docs in Canadian embassy in Tehran, they gave me the file number on the receipt.
the only thing about waiting time on that letter was that they expected to begin active processing of most 2001 application by the beginning of 2006, and nothing more that that.

@ ka3far: as far as I know all medical tests are sent to Paris for evaluation. but i have to say that this is the first time that I heard they examined one's testicles !!!!!!!!! and finally about you case inquiry they will answer you, but it may take time. So don't worry they are slow but they will answer.
